Have you played since the first optimization update on Halloween?

@@OWGCLAN333 Yeah, agreed that they need to optimize the heck out of it. The good news is, they’ve started. A new update just dropped and cheaters have basically gone down to zero because of it. Looks like the FPS got slightly buffed. Needs more, but it’s moving in a good direction.

As of Halloween, it plays smoothly. They had a pretty large update. But I'm also on a 4070 super not the best by any means, but it's no slouch

The blockchain element is coming, it's just not here yet. So plenty of people want to how to "earn" since it's an optional mechanic. I thought I explained it well at the end. Nobody is getting paid yet, you're right, but that doesn't mean the things we unlock right now won't be worth something, especially exclusive stuff.

You don’t want to be able to trade battlepass skins you don’t use anymore? But also, Off the Grid’s own website says: “Off The Grid is not an NFT game. It’s a battle royale game with an optional NFT element. If you want to try out NFTs, you can; if you don’t want to, you don’t have to. It’s entirely up to the player how they want to play the game, and the game is playable without dipping into NFTs.”

Hey man! I'll reply to each point 😄 - Price to mint: I'm curious to see how this will pan out when the token is genuinely circulating. Right now, we're minting our decks with tokens we got for free in the airdrop, and then you've got tokens sitting in LP farms on Solana, both of which are going to alter the natural price. I agree a really high price to mint cuts out a large chunk of the community. But if it's something like $5 to mint your best decks to become tradeable, that doesn't feel prohibitive to me. It's essentially just a royalty fee, unless I'm missing something? - I haven't followed the existing community's response, so I can't speak on that. It was my impression that the existing digital community (steam active players) was really small, and the majority of players were physical. - Had no clue on the NFT not including the forge born abilities. I'm having Justin in a Twitter space tomorrow and will bring that up, because I think that's super valid.

If stores are running events they would also put the event on the stoneblade website and there are basically none.

Hey man! I appreciate you listening to the entire thing. To preface, I'm not in WOLVES DAO, and have no financial incentive to "promote" them or anything. Spent a long time in regular crypto and DeFi before ending up in "web3 gaming." This was my first one on one conversation with Payton ever. With that said, I've had essentially the opposite experience with Wolves DAO as you seem to have had. I've had a lot of people in their community on the podcast (mostly game founders or devs). But have also interacted a fair amount with a couple of the creators. In my experience, they are genuinely some of the kindest people I've met in the space, and haven't seemed like grifters at all. It also helps that a large portion of the games being made that I would rank in the top tier are represented in some way by the DAO that Payton founded. We're quick to speak out against founders who actually rug retail or gamers. I worked in that space prior to web3 gaming. And I haven't gotten that impression from Payton or anyone in his circle that I've interacted with. Can you give me some more clarity or context into why you would fault Payton for past rugs and upcoming rugs? Thanks!
