3 Thieves. The video is unfortunately not very good, but I'm too lazy to make a good video.
This song is split into three distinct sections, each of which has its own unique instrumentation. The time signatures increase with each section; the first section is in 3/4, the second section is in 4/4, and the third section is in 5/4. These three sections "describe" three different thieves who work together to steal. The thieves are the Schemer, the Fighter, and the Stealther.
The Schemer's section is filled with large synth chords and big percussion to reflect the Schemer's grand, cunning plans. Think of the Schemer as the mastermind or the brains of the group.
The Fighter's section has a bass motif (with strong transients) and overall harsher instrumentation to show how the Fighter is, well, violent. The Fighter is the brawn of the operation, doing most of the hard physical work.
The Stealther's section is the most experimental of the three. It a slightly jazzy feel and randomly placed sounds. The percussion here is a stark contrast to the percussion for the other two thieves. The Stealther is good at being stealthy and remaining hidden, making the Stealther a very effective thief.
Together, with the Schemer's brains, the Fighter's brawn, and the Stealther's agility, the 3 thieves form a powerful group. I hope you enjoy the song.
