@ridemdirtbike1865 it is far more capable than I am! It is light, great traction, easy to manage for an old guy. Battery life (2 full laps with 25% left) probably won't win me any prizes. But loving the trail ride, for sure!

Yeah not enduro, most of my videos are enduro or sprint enduro, this is a video of a tour of a Trials school grounds. I took a lesson, I'm hoping it will help me more competitive in the next enduro. Thanks for watching!

I started with used bikes, I went through two Honda XRs. I had a XR200 and an XR250, they are great bikes when you don't know what you are doing, lol. They're not too fast so you can't get in real trouble and they handle pretty good for older bikes. XR200 bike has a low seat height. They make a new one CRF250F that's around 5k that's supposedly similar to and xr250 but that bike will be a little taller. I had a lot of fun on those bikes before I got an expensive KTM and then I went 2 stroke with I love. Anyone else want to chime in? You can also get a new bike and they make a lowering kit. My current bikes is a 2023 KTM 300 xc-w TPI. I also really like Yamaha TTRs my wife has TTR 230 and before that she had a TTR 125 big wheel, both bullet proof fun bikes!

Yeah the transfers can be tough! I think some of this is the 3rd test because at the end we go through an emergency check at the very end. I'm just figuring out closed Course Enduro, confusing to me, haha

The video starts less than a mile from this test and maybe covers two tests. The whole enduro was 45 miles including the transfer sections and the tests. This is the second test but after a very long transfer so maybe we are 20 miles in? The guy riding in front of me told the race officials about the guy with the broken bars, his row number and that he was 3.5 miles into this test. Yeah, his bars snapped in half maybe the mounts were broken too? Not sure. The guy felt sure he could fix it with some tools to ride out. So he was either towed out or he rode out but he definitely got back to his vehicle with his bike.

I dis that race in 2016 when it was 56 miles it's a day bummed I didn't do it this year but I've haven't raced since 2020 due to injuries and I wasn't feeling confident that this was the one to return to racing in!

@@bigcat5781 I started doing these sprint enduros in 2021 so I'm not sure but it probably was.

Yes anyone can ride it, you will need a ECEA day pass but they can sell you that at signup, $5 or $10 for the pass. Go to the ECEA website and look at the Enduro schedule.

It's in central New York State somewhere near the Pennsylvania border but it might have been a one-off, it's not on the D4 schedule this year.

@@trentpiersall.668 I like it! It's hybrid so good traction but if you ride on the road it will wear quicker.

@@ridemdirtbike1865 yes for sure, i like the Dunlop AT81EX but it wears super quick even in the dirt. I run bibs never tried the tubliss system just because of still potentially getting a flat.

@@trentpiersall.668 I haven't tried those. It looks like you're faster than I am from your video. The Talon does roll a little in fast turns with 9-10 psi, a little squirrelly.
