I bought mine right around the same time you bought yours, except I'm an idiot. 2012 manual base model in white for $28,999 with 34k miles. I get it home and within the first month I have to replace the entire front of the motor. The harmonic balancer was drilling it's way into the timing cover and almost fucked up my entire engine. New timing cover, crank, water pump, idler pulley, serpentine belt and ac belt later and I finally have a car I can feel good about. I traded in a perfectly good Mustang Ecoboost that was heavily modded for this car, so I was shitting myself for a month trying to fix all this. But the last month has been smooth sailing and the car has been amazing.

These offer a performance level that can hang with some very illustrious exotic supersportscars, Even the base model C6 was and still is a remarkable and great sportscar all around. Plus it is reliable and very liveable, perfectly fit as a daily driver which sets its apart from its italian and german made peers of the segment indeed. the price/performance ratio is unparalleled. 👍🏻

To me, the door handles are less of an issue than the skip shift feature. The elimination link takes care of it.

Should have bought a c4 instead. I absolutely love my 1990 black on black convertible. And mine has the same wheels as your's.. looks killer and I've had no major issues. Has long as you drive it daily the battery issue shouldn't be a problem. But once it sits it will drain the battery. It's designed that way.

the price you got it for lines up pretty good if its clean title 0 accidents, I got mine bone stock 2009 automatic 3lt 26k miles for 32k around 4 months ago, if I were you I would just swap the rims out to black and you would probably like the white body more since white and black is cleaner than white and silver wheels, taillights would also be nice too I recommend alpha rex's, also watch out for your cup holder it will melt in the sun use sunshades I wish I was joking, lastly you mentioned your temps mine sticks around 192-198 while driving if I'm idle 200-208 in Florida heat oil temps can be as hot as high 220's on highway which is fine we both don't have the oil cooler
