Hello! I'm taking a break from animation right now to focus on my full time career. When I'm back I'll look into this. However the process of making an animated mouth isn't too difficult here are the steps I took. 1- create a switch layer, named mouth. 2- create your first mouth shape, it does not matter which one you create. Look online for the different sounding letters and mimic the shape to match the letter. 3- duplicate your first layer for all the rest of your mouth shapes. 4- double click on the switch folder and then on interpolation. That's it!

Hi. I really like your rig and the way you think about moving the different aspects of the character. I use MoHo to do all the animation on my channel and I am trying to create a "character 2.0" with better rigging and such. You look like you understand the smart bones much better than I do. Would you be willing to do a zoom call or something to take a look at my rig and pitch in with anything that might make it better? I'll gladly pay you for your time. :)

I found them Super entertaining and interesting. Like your video on fact about how the French tried to marry off their inmates to prostitutes and then send them to America. However, if you are looking to progress your understanding of rigging, I would tell you to start with downloading one of my rigs I have for free on my website: skunkburger.com You will find both Moho 14 and 13.5 files on there that are free for you to use. Secondly, here are some bullet point facts I've learned from the Moho webinar by GG Gato Malo: 1- Focus on the face. Eye, Eyebrows, Mouth. These are the primary ways we emote emotions. 2- Watch and download this GUI from GG Gato Malo: ua-cam.com/video/9wvlUvqbjnU/v-deo.html 3- Don't over rig, just rig for your shot. It looks like you post monthly, this is a great amount of time as it gives you the time needed to create new things without needed to over rig. However, having a base rig would be nice that you could reuse. I know one way I've seen this done is from Popoli's tutorial on making a character creator: ua-cam.com/video/hQB7TFsl8WU/v-deo.html The downside of doing this is that each character you have might be a little heavy.

Hey John! I have a few thoughts here but I’m happy to help! 1- you can see me setting the bones and getting it all setup around 20 mins in. If this does not help 2- here is a video of someone setting up target bones. The concept is the same with our project. The target bone here controls the north west east and south bones depending on where it is in the quadrant. ua-cam.com/video/rZJnPeyIKY4/v-deo.html If this does not help 3- I can upload my project for download and you can inspect and play around with the project to see how things work. I’d encourage you though to basically start with just one quadrant at a time. Let me know what would best help. Also what type of project are you working on?
