This channel is dedicated to my 4 favorite actors... Alex O'Loughlin, Scott Caan, Paul Michael Glaser, & Tom Selleck. They are amazing in everything they do. I love watching Hawaii Five-0, Starsky & Hutch and Magnum. They have my favorite actors in all of tv. I hope this channel honors them sufficiently.

Yes he would have. I liked the original but I really like the reboot too. Especially since it's not a retelling of the old stories. I also really like all the action of the new one.
I always loved Magnum P.I and this on going plot or twist with his love for Michelle and later on her daughter really was top notch. Memories are forever, Little girl who, Unfinished business and even Resolutions kept a red thread thru seven seasons. Memories are forever is one of the best episodes for sure of the entire show. I loved it, and still watch it.

I'm from Russia. In 2000-2001 one of our TV channels bought this show. I remember watching it during my last year at school and the first year in the university. I remember only few episodes which impressed me most, but the general atmosphere of the film is still with me. Higgins saying 'Oh my God', TC's smile, Rick in a white suit... And Magnum, oh, I was really in love with him. Thank you for this video, the song matches it perfectly. There are very few random episodes of Magnum in russian internet, it's a pity. So I'd like to get the full original version and see everything from the beginning up to the end and have a time of my life!

Who else is crying Rip Linda 1974-2017
My Daddy passed away this past December and I've been rewatching Magnum again. He reminds me of my Dad. My Dad was very fit during the years Magnum was on and i loved watching the show with my Dad.

Selleck was great as Magnum. The show had so much more depth and heart than the current reboot. The original had so many key elements that made it (I think) a "classic" TV series. Selleck I think is around 6'3'6'4. He was the "Marlboro ad model". Looked good in uniform. Was personable...had that "nice guy look" and his character was willing to show vulnerability. A first for a male lead at that time. Looked in the camera for some humour. Was the first show to use a Ferrari. Character development was better. They made Juliette Higgins too much of a "still Mi6 super spy". Too much access to intel via a laptop...able to fight off several men ...marines...or ex-...yet she never works out. Just does yoga....The new Magnum is too short. Has none of the qualities Selleck brought. Even in other roles or interviews Selleck was pretty much the same as he was as Magnum. A "nice guy"...not a typical Hollywood douche...you don't hear about him in the tabloids...etc. Also, the current reboot doesn't show much of Hawaii and the people. It could have been filmed in LA for all we know...almost no views of the Club run by Rick...King Kamaiamaa...
One of the best shows ever, I was 17 when this show first aired, I remember watching it on a black and white portable TV and thinking how amazing it was!

Why no sequel??
I love this show , one of the good classics! Today's shows are no where as good as this. All the characters in the series worked well together, including the Dalmations. :) Tom selleck will be the only Magnum P.I.
The Dobermans, Zeus and Apollo, were just 2 more characters of the show. Love the scenes where they chased him. Lol

When Michelle let Magnum think that she was dead when he and the US Troops who were in Saigon heading back to the states,she didn't bother to think about not only hurting him but also his family,including his mother,who was pleased that he found love long after his father was killed in action in Korea before he could come home for the 4th of July.

I am totally surprised that the relationship wasn't drawn out longer, as the Thomas and Michelle one was. But I am totally loving the reboot. Peter Lenkov is an awesome writer and Jay has amazing acting skills.

Although Reggie is thought to be Jesse’s first dog, he wasn’t. In the Prequel, Stone came to Paradise with a Bloodhound named Boomer. Jesse really never owned a dog after Boomer. Boomer was “put down” at the end of the prequel because of kidney failure. The other two were kind of “mutual adoption.” Reggie was the first adoption and when he died, Stone took a dog named Steve, when the owner was killed. Reggie did have the longest dog character on the series.

I can’t remember how Linda died in the show
She died in a helicopter crash between seasons 7 and 8. It was never shown only talked about.
Magnum died at the end, but there was a huge outcry from fans as to how it ended and the network brought it back for another season with writers bringing magnum back and changing the end of the series.
This is the BEST show ever. If only people would learn from it.
