The foster care agency through which the adoption was conducted, called "Saint Christopher's" was shut down the next year after I was adopted by an unmarried person (with a history of gang involvement but no criminal record) due to falsified documents including those pertaining to safety inspections. My entire baody remains frozen stiff in a locked state of flight or fright that began less than 12 months after I was born as a result of being fondled and suffocated to the point of losing consciousness. I hope you expand your horizons as to what you are aware of the crimes that people who want to be called the arbitrary yet unfortunately sexually connotated name "mommy" are capable of committing. My birthname, Baby Girl Donlon, was changed according to a nonconsensual decision that I take a sex trafficker's last name.

@@maizegrist thank you so much for responding with such detail! I had no idea about that agency and what they did. I just read 3 articles about it and I can see that all Mr. Medina's agency cared about was sheltering behind the institutional racism discourse so they can get huge amounts of money without studying the adoptive families before and after adopting children, without worrying about the city that could be accused of racial bigotry if they do something against the agency. It's sad that the news about St. Christopher's undermine the cases of child abuse and death and focus almost solely on the falsification of documents. As I said, all this could be prevented if the background studies and supervision of foster families were made in every case. Unfortunately, children are completely vulnerable to a corrupt and evil system that includes private and public entities.
