I may have missed you mentioning it, but triple tap from off gives you strobe on both flood and throw. I do wish it was memorized triple tap from any mode though.🤷🏻♂️ I agree they need to play with the emitters. I'm glad to see the flood looking less green though! For me it would be neutral CCT for the flood and neutral DUV for the throw.🤩 Another thing I don't think you mentioned was that you can flick the selector switch to check the battery. I absolutely love the ways they've played with integrated checking the battery while off!
There's been a software update to the Moto tags. You can now use moto tags to take pictures remotely.
I’ve been thinkkk in my of purchasing this one , I deliver packages for work and need a flashlight that points at the customers doors after dark instead of holding my olight 3 which has a switch by light not at the butt end .
@@havoso definitely grab this or the regular Oclip. I think you may like this one better because of the spot light, but could definitely clip it on almost anywhere. Or, grab a metal plate and you can magnetize it to the front of your shirt like UA-cam'rs do with those wireless mics.
Not usially my kind of light but this one has some great features that have me reconsidering.
@@mikereese15 if nothing else, great little light to throw in a backpack or toolkit.
Wow! You put so much work into this video, with juggling 1 tablet, 2 phones, and 7 (or is it 8) tracking devices, great production values, and a boatload of performance data and results. Thanks so much for this exceptional effort, as it proved very helpful--in fact decisive--in my shopping for my first tracker.
@@robinwoodbury2563 thanks for the thoughtful comment. Can't wait for this year: airtag2, UWB on googly FindMy, and who knows what else.
As a lefty, I find the Para 3 the perfect folder. I love both my Maxamet and S45 VN. I'm now debating between the lightweight and the blackout Salt versions. I like the look of the blackout version better. But the yellow lightweight would be easier to find in a bag or if dropped in the water. My debate continues.
@@IcemanSK either way, with crucible potentially disappearing definitely grab something magnacut.
Thanks this is the best review of this bag I have found so far.
@@jameshawkins1339 wow. Thank you. Glad you liked it.
Would you recommend this for an ambient light on a gaming/computer desk? Looking for something not super bright, and the rgb factor of this is kinda cool
@@kyleFranzen For sure. You can ramp the levels down to a nice level or if you have it mounted behind your monitor you can ramp it up. Only potential issue I see is runtime, depending on how long you expect to have it running.
My first ts10v2 TiCo needs to be reset every time I use it. It won't turn on. The replacement works fine but it's a problem I've read about other people having
That's a bummer. Hope their customer service was good. It usually is for me.
Does the lightweight have liners? I hate knives with scales that can bend when you squeeze them (bugout)
@@adamccrawford skeletonized if I recall correctly.
This is my go to other than not having a strobe function. Unless I can't find it. It absolutely destroys a lot of my more expensive lights and power and distance and so on. It's a beast
@@MrJoeygregory just wish they had a good emitter in here.
Someone please suggest if there is any flashlight in wurkkos having green red strobe light plus normal white light🙏🏻 I work in railway and i want that for alright signal purpose
@@ManishSharma-jl6qq I don't know that they have one... I'll take a look though.
Yeah please I invested a lot of time looking into that but i couldn't find yet
Great way of doing this test...nice job!
@@jefff7287 thanks for the comment. I'm hoping I can do an even better version this year.
Odd that the Moto tag seemed to consistently work better than Pebblebee & Chipolo given that all three use the Google Find My network, right? I'm wondering why your conclusion at the end doesn't suggest the Tile for Android (non-Samsung) users though. It seemed like the Tile worked better than the Moto tag and nearly as well as the Airtag & Samsung tags?
@@ytpete2 The tile had a couple hiccups and based on the number of reporting devices. From what I gather the number of devices in Tile's network is significantly lower than Apple or Android. I also see a lot less future growth from Tile as compared to Google's FindMy network and subsequent catalog of cable devices. The ultimate answer is still -- get both/all of them. However, let me tell you how quickly keys bulk up when following that logic.
It would be cool if you could compare it to WERA ZYKLOP Mini 1 ratchet. It is 87mm long and rated for 65Nm of force. Sure it is a bit bigger but not by a lot and it could be more usable due to being a bit longer. They cost around 35 USD in Germany. I love the idea of this super tiny one but I am not sure how useful would it end up being.
@@watchfinds3104 I'll message them and see if they can help. Thanks for the till.

I liked how detailed your review was, it made everything easy to follow.
@@linyo7409 thanks for the kind words.
Looks very cool.
@@mikereese15 a "little" cool
Is there a higher brightness mode for the RGB lights that they can actually be used as a color flashlight? Or are they just for aesthetic and helping find the flashlight in the dark?
@@Yuck412 the latter. I will say it's nice when it's locked but mostly just novelty.
video too long. Need shorter video with simple summary.
@@KuroObi83 heard. What bits did you like/would you keep? I plan on redoing this in 2025 and want to make it better. Thanks for the comment.
Such a cool knife! I hope they will still be available now that Crucible Industries is going bankrupt..
@@nh--2022 yea, I'm worried I need to scoop up all my favorite magnacut knives.
just wondering, if all of these devices can use nearby internet connection yo update its location ? thank you
@@KuroObi83 Nope, they don't have WiFi or cellular radios.
Picked one of these up bc my city has a blade length restriction. Action is a little sticky but it holds an edge way better than the cheaper pocket knives I carry. Remains to be seen whether it was worth the money I paid since I use it almost exclusively for opening packages
@@Bingusginghs and it will make a freakin incredible box opener. Action should/will get better as you fidget it. Worth it, ehhh, but we only are here for a short time. Treat yourself.
Is the lynch clip on this the “spyderco standard wire clip replacement - blacksmith”? It’s a beautiful edition
@@natsukuga I was a bit hesitant when I ordered as there were images of it at the time. Well worth it.
Awesome video. Best on the subject imho
@@TheRodriguezMan thankyoukindly
I feel like if you've been into knives for any length of time, Wiha bits are almost a requirement. I got the set of 1/4" torx bits I use to go with my Real Avid Gunsmithing Screwdriver set. The Real Avid set has a mini driver that works perfect for working on my knives. I still had to buy extra T6's though, because damnit those things love stripping. 😂
@@bigbl8717 It is definitely a moment of clarity for those who make the switch.
I love mine. They will ignite newspaper in less than 3 seconds
The lock feature is a must. Dangerous in hands of children or accidently turning on while in pocket or whatever
@@clemwalton4767 it is definitely one of my favorites to bring on trips to show friends. "Want to see me turn night into day?"
@IllinoisDailyCarry ha ha ya I love people's reactions,
@clemwalton4767 this and a LEP are enough to usually make flashlight nerds out of a average folks.
Mechanic here and I been using this O'pen pro for a solid week now. Laser : pointless. I see no use for it in any shop scenario except for messing with a random cat. Light : its got deacent luminosity. Great for when you need to see something really quick and dont want to walk all the way back to the toolbox for your main light. I already have a a streamlight stylus pro as my daily carry but i often forget to charge it and the o'pen has come in as back up once already. It being small profile ive used it to flood a small space . Downside to the wide beam is that if you try to use it while clipped in your shirt pocket, you will catch some glare in your eyes. Pen: smooth clean roller ball action. Weight balance is my biggest gripe. Theres too much weigh at the wrong (laser/battery) end. So if the weight was more at the writing end, itll be much nicer. Not to sound like thanos but its balance is off. Button : my biggest concern was that the button would get snagged in my pocket. Thus far it hasnt. I had to resort to the instructions to figure out how to use all the features using a single bolt action button. First time using the pen i was at the bank and accidently flashed the teller. It takes a few tries before it becomes intuitive. It can double as fidget thingy which might be an unrealized positive for some itchy fingers. Overall : good pen thatll serve nicely as a backup light. Would love to see the light take the place of the laser. In such a layout, i can see the o'pen challenge my stylus as the daily carry pocket light.
@@PhongNguyen-me8qk thanks for the comment. Ditch the laser and replace it with a thrower/less floody emitter?
Yes you should and I did.
@@thespicedune Well played.
I absolutely love mine, thanks for sharing
@@kccisco777 Me too. Thanks for the comment.
I have a Motorola MotoTag and after updating to the latest firmware 2.0.35 it reports a low battery after about 18 days. I have already changed the battery 2x and it is still the same. Motorola support communicates with me via messenger but always advises me on the same things. Like unpairing, reinstalling the Motorola application, clearing the cache, etc. I keep telling them that the problem only occurred after the firmware upgrade. I am upset because the price is about 60 USD in the Czech Republic thanks to resellers.
@@davidklement2201 whoa! That egregious. Hopefully they put out another firmware update that fixes that for you, but thanks for this comment/heads-up
@@IllinoisDailyCarry I hope they will put out...
I'm sure it's a quality 4mm driver! I love my Ben Petersen knife (Sendy). I chose the 711L lollipop 1/4" pocket driver. It's a finger spinner too with a spin top, but the top pulls out into an L handle when more torque is needed. The Klein #32611P 13 in 1 looks very versatile with the ability to drive 4mm and 1/4" bits. Also the MicroMark SKU 90568 can handle both and includes a ratchet.
Love the 711L Lollipop (ua-cam.com/video/lymGB5oK3ww/v-deo.html) I'm a huge fan of Klein's Flip Sockets; I'll have to check out the driver. The MicroMark looks beautiful. Thanks for the comment!
This is one I've had my eyes on and forgot about. Supoosed to be awesome.
@@mikereese15 I think it just returned to stock on knafs.com, it's definitely a nice piece of kit.

@@IllinoisDailyCarry Yes. Apparently even if you lose a bit they'll replace it too.
@mikereese15 Wow. I would be terrible for their bottom line. "How does this guy lose so many bits!?" Hahaha

I bought a Perun 3 during the BlackFriday sale a month ago. I seem to use it daily not and I've never thought I would ever use a headlamp prior to purchase. I use it in my attic, working on my christmas lights while working at night, etc. I also love the red light for aviation and pilot friendly operation. Love the headband and the lightswitch. Love the olight pro and glow. Have an oPen 2, a couple pros amd a glow. Im sure many could benefit from the features they have.
@@mikereese15 do you have a favorite of the lot?
@IllinoisDailyCarry the glow to me feels s little different and I don't like that you have to charge it in the little charger you dip the pen in. I do like it but nowhere near as much as the oPen pro. And the oPen 2 doesn't have the laser. So for me, the open pro is my fav. But if I worked at night or in dark places, the glow would be very handy.
@mikereese15 intriguing. I can't wait too see how well it holds up in my mechanic friend's hands.

Samsung user here. When you first use you Galaxy phone you are prompted to allow your devices to be found on SmartThings Network. The SmartThings app with Find My network comes preinstalled on your phone
All samsung phones doesn't support tracking, only galaxy series can track tags I think. So comparing Apple shipments of 234 with samsung 226 doesn't mean anything because they didn't sold 226 galaxy phones. I am talking about samsung tags, tiles I guess works on any android device but you have to install app, so it is restricted. For samsung I guess you don't need to install anything on galaxy phones to track someones tag. So yes samsung has more galaxy devices then tile sold tag devices, but still apple has more devices.
@@techscience1480 I wouldn't say it means nothing. Did you follow the link to the research?
@@IllinoisDailyCarry It does look samsung has better distance around 120 meters outside compaared to airtags around 25 meters, It is possible that there will be a new airtag next year. There is bunch of android phones and only samsung supports their tags and only galaxy versions, so if your family doesn't have samsung or doesn't have galaxy then it doesn't work.
@@techscience1480 I'm very excited for AirTag v2. Sure, but other people Galaxy devices are also still helping with "check-ins" If you get bored, I'd recommend checking out my other video where I pit all* the current bluetooth trackers against an actual GPS tracker.
Are they ashame to cost more then airtag? I mean who do they think they are? I know apple is overpriced, but samsung and others want to do the same thing and I am sure samsungs smart watch or tag work worse then apples, same goes to camera. If I can't get cheaper stuff from samsung then I am glad to buy iphone and buy their accessories.
Right? Motorola/Samsung/Google are silly to let this happen. There are few things that make me think of switching to iPhone but the rollout of Google FindMy is definitely one of them.
Recently bought a moto tag hoping it would free me of my reliance of the samsung eco-system as i had been using a smart tag 2. Unfortunately my freedom is nowhere on the horizon as the the moto tag feature set has been lacking. Also had one of the older tile trackers and without a subscription it is not a great experience. Thanks for the awesome work.
@@tamaz125 Dang. Get it together Google, Motorola, etc. Thanks for this though as it helps with real world experience information when I inevitably make my next installment. Appreciate the comment.
@IllinoisDailyCarry moto tag hardware is nice and extra points for it being compatible with most if not airtag accessories. Software is not great...nothistorical info, no alerts when leave stuff behind, no last seen location when Bluetooth off. Very disappointing given when google announced updates to the find my network a while ago.
@tamaz125 I blame Google for all those shortcomings.
