Home care is amazing! Older folks overwhelmingly fear loss of independence and institutionalization more than death. Home Care can save the day for folks when they lose their ability to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) independently. Caregivers help with hygiene, nutrition, safety, cleanliness and so much more, all while allowing a person to stay in their home and the surroundings that they cherish.
Adult Day Care is also Amazing: Another fear that outweighs death is the loss of family or friends. - For Liz, "taking care of people" isn't enough, she wants them to live their best lives.

EVV was created by the government because it thinks poor people, especially poor black and brown women, are not to be trusted. They worry about this because they know they are not paying fair wages to begin with. As far as I am concerned it’s just another example of petty paternalistic government control.

No way this is legal...not in the USA...right???
It is. It's used to stop fraudulent clock in times. The government is weird. Use money for apps like this when they pay workers' crumbs for a few hrs.

This is going to be a struggle for providers that work with people that don't have Wi-fi or a LAN cable, some areas don't even have good signal and have lag/disconnection issues and hopefully the servers don't crash the first day of using the app; I understand the precautions and making sure everything is in order but just seems a bit much to go into details on a daily basis, hopefully there is more information provided for people that speak english and non-english speaking.
So go pay another $50-80 dollars Extrra a month for internet service while getting minimum wage got it no thanks it was great working for my recipient for 2 months this it to much for me
More people should express what they think and feel about this.

Where I am, home care work is paid at $4/hr over minimum for our state. Massachusetts pays $15 an hour minimum. I am making 19 per hour... Wherever you are, if you are not making at least $2 or more per hour more than minimum, you need a different job.
oh and you have to use your personal self funded device they're not going to reimburse you for data or purchase :)

How can I start my own business without a building? How would I get paid and how would my aides get paid? How much would I get paid? How would I get the paper work my new hires need to do? How do I make sure my Aides get paid what I want them too? I want to just have interested people call me and meet up with them at different locations. Can I do that? How do I find clients?
