An edit of Yakuza 4's ending and final boss battles with each of the 4 playable characters, Akiyama, Saejima, Tanimura, and Kiryu. Definitely my favorite ending in the series tied with Yakuza 0 and Kiwami. Every protagonist and their respective antagonist's scenes are put together including QTE fight sequences and are turned into one long video format and matched with each appropriate characters' theme songs, every single one of which is actually a remixed version of the original song: For Faith, which has lyrics. I paid extra attention to detail for the music in particular as I wanted to showcase how impressive it is that each theme can be so unique and distinct, yet still feel very similar and as if they all are a part of the same exact song all while exemplifying the fantastic characters that they represent.
For various reasons that are explored throughout the game, our protagonists need to lure all of the main enemies out into one place to figure out who's behind everything. Akiyama devises a plan to put his 100 billion yen on the roof of the tallest building around, the Millenium Tower, and wait for the main players to show up, all of which are seeking a shot at the money. Indeed, one Daigo Dojima, chairman of the Tojo Clan, arrives looking to take it for the future of the clan, while Hiroaki Arai comes forth looking to stop the money from getting into worse hands. He calls out to his sworn brother: Takeshi Kido, who is wanting to take his one shot to make a name for himself and do something great as a yakuza, and the three then argue and talk before the corrupt Deputy Commissioner of the Tokyo Police Department, Seishiro Munakata arrives with his goons wanting to take the money for himself. He mocks and lectures the three before eventually threatening them until a helicopter arrives containing our four protagonists, each of them having a particular beef with a particular individual...
Four Face - Shun Akiyama / Hiroaki Arai
(A relatively very chill and very funky version of the song that still manages to sound dramatic and surprisingly emotional)
Four Faith - Taiga Saejima / Takeshi Kido
(An intense and loud version of the song with heavy guitars and percussions that ends up actually becoming very calm and serene at the peak of the song)
For Face - Kazuma Kiryu / Daigo Dojima
(By far the calmest and the most lowkey version of the song, but also the most dramatic and somber, with the guitars toned down in favor of an orchestral sound)
For Faith - Masayoshi Tanimura / Seishiro Munakata
(The main theme of the game, representing everyone, really, with a perfect blend of intense, dramatic, and heavy, yet inspiring and energetic, the vocals too just by sheer sound are almost downright empowering, barring the *almost* nonsensical lyrics and pronunciation)
