The thing I hate about this fight is that when the blue demon comes in there is no checkpoint and if you die you have to restart the encounter which is dumb and I’m also playing it on hardest difficulty

Not all Forts are equal. If they spawn lvl 15 ships to defend, they are huge 'bullet sponges' that just keep coming. This is how they force the player to be in the Plunder Zone instead of Snipe-clearing the defenses first. Just saying. :)

Didn’t know I could glide in and do an assassination on them. Thanks for that knowledge. Just went back and destroyed Martial heir with that method at level 14. Would be cool if I got his blood sword tho

If there’s anymore then they should give a style or something cool I want the moves that they use since no other character has given the player styles like theirs they have such flashy moves like the one that goes all around the player and the move where it’s a quick draw but it’s right in front of you

I found a different one in a cave to the right and below across a stream at a prayer station very very north in EDO

I found this guide to be extremely helpful. I was able to do this at LvL 12 on Dusk. However, it made the loot scale from there and didn't drop with optimal stats or equipment level. I reloaded my save and intend to farm him again later to try and godroll the katana.

its an obvious reference from their other title nioh, but still kinda odd that you get yasuke's armor set from him instead lol. Still, i wonder if they also added his guardian spirit and his spear just to add more sweetness into his cameo as a secret boss in this game

This is on dusk difficultly, you blocking his attacls barely touches your stam, he is a total different breed on dusk/twilight

There is a hidden boss on the first map. And he has a golden emblem. I can't find him again. He's in a valley in a cave. I found him when I was far 2 low to even have a chance but I tried.. and I didn't take a screen shot of exactly where he was... so hopefully you read this comment... find him and post it💯

Just popping back in to once again thanks for the guide. Followed your path in instead of dropping down and shot him with three poison arrows, then three fire arrows, and proceeded to fling shurikens at him non-stop until his ki gauge was all the way down, then did the critical attack for huge damage. Flung and hit him with every katana that was sticking out of the ground after that and wailed on him a bit more. I went in at level 20 instead of 14 and used a katana instead of the odachi but otherwise used your suggestions. Clinched it on the second attempt. I'm sure you're already aware since you have the guide up on the Blue Eyed Samurai fight, but there are two more of these secret bosses in Yokohama too, both of them also denoted by a series of trees with the white rope around them. One on the coast in Hiranuma-Shinden, and one in Shibo by the lake near the upper west corner. So far those are the only other two I could find aside from the Blue Eyed Samurai fight.
