technically though, I would say that the KR1 was probably the most primitive, i.e suspension and engine configuration. However, the KR1 has the most torque lower down the rev range than any other production 250 stroker and has also shown to have better power lower down than proper racing bikes like the TZ250 and RS250 (they peek much later, where they make their power). The light weight of the KR1 and the ability to put good power down exiting corners is where it excels though
