PS - I just finished watching on Max Like Water for Chocolate and thought to myself if there was any board game based on that time period and event and I saw your last top 10 video where you recommend Viva Mexico! 😂

My first Historic Wings game book (Lysander) arrived today. What are your feelings on the Vassal modules vs. purchasing the printed components from Blue Panther? I’m leaning strongly towards the Vassal modules

Manila is a ton of fun. I have never tried any of the Historic Wing games, Might have to check them out. Undaunted 2200 looks amazing! I have it on order. Burning Banners looks interesting as well. I napoleon is on my shelf. I should get that out and play it. Thanks for sharing!

On each Rival turn, you are giving combat points to the Rival based on the number of swords at the bottom of the card. The rulebook does not say to do this. Instead, the rulebook says to only count the swords as a Combat bonus when Phase 3: Combat begins. “In turn order, [for each Rival] reveal the top card of the House of Hagal deck. . . . Ignore everything on the revealed card except for the sword icons at the bottom. Advance the Rival’s Combat marker on the Combat track by the number of swords revealed.” At no other time are swords on the House of Hagal deck used in this way.
