"Eventide" and "La Beltaine"
Our harp trio is based in South Western Victoria, and this track is from our recently recorded EP.
"Eventide" is composed by our very own Pam Bennett, and "La Beltaine" is recorded with generous permission by composer Aillie Robertson.
This track features Sylvie Rogers on guitar, and Pam Bennett and Merran Moir on harp.
The vision, our EP cover, is a photo taken whilst cruising locally with Mako Ocean Adventures to Lady Juila Percy Island.
We thank Don Stewart at Unmuzzled Music Productions for this studio recording.

    Did I see the look of love in that beautiful lady's eyes during the mid point tune?? I think so... You are a very cute couple. You musn't be married, because no married couple loves like this, at least at this stage of the game, but maybe that's why you two stayed together?? I'm on year 32 with number one at the moment, so not so shabby, and in my house, I'm the piper, maybe I can get my lovely darling to play the bodhran? It's never too late, I think.

    I really enjoyed this, thank you at 68 I'm now finding it difficult playing the Ghb and am considering smallpipes, would you recommend any type and also bellows or blown? !

    • @merranmoir2576
      @merranmoir2576 2 роки тому

      Smallpipes are great fun. I prefer bellows because the reeds last for a long time due to the dryness in the bag. But it is another skill to learn. Mouth blown ones are great as well, and coming from GHB is an easier transition.

    • @klondyke2569

    • @merranmoir2576
      @merranmoir2576 Рік тому

      Playing slow Tunes is definitely the way to go, the slower the tune the better so you can just concentrate on the bellows. And long, slow movements for each arm so you draw the most possible air in for each movement
