I had a crush a boy since 5th grade. I was brave enough to text him by making excuse of trying to get everyone’s contact in the class. We started talking as a friend. He was nice, kind, and sweet. I invited him over to my house for a party where many of my friends attended. I confessed my feelings for him by making him guess. He kept guessing and I told him that he know this person well. When he figured out I liked him, he only replied with “ok”. I was super confused but he just treated me the same after that, which I think was the best thing that happened. During 6th grade we didn’t talk at all, because we don’t have a single class together. Fast forward to 7th grade we were put together for a parter project and it made us grew closer. After that me and him become close again. I kinda noticed the signs like him teasing me and everything but just not super sure. In 8th grade I was studying aboard for 1 semester, this is where the stories took a HUGE turn. I came back for the second semester. Exactly on Chinese new year, I texted him talking about valentines. He asked me if I wanted anything cause I’m the closest to valentines to him. I asked him if he have any crushes before but he just dodge the question and say like I don’t know. Then I hinted him, just like how I did in 5th grade. This time different, not and ok but “so I am your crush?, you are my crush too” then we started off as the upgraded best friend, but I suggest we should just date 😅. Now we are in 9th grade (together for 9 months) finally my 4 years of having a crush on him paid off. ❤
