After a week of fun in the sun and all the food we could possibly eat it was time to head home and restock the fridge. Back to the normal everyday food and meals. It was fun to be away but always nice to get back home too!

This was definitely not my typical grocery haul. My husband and I were going to be able to get away for a whole week to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary! Had to stock up on some different things for the kids who were staying home to run the farm. This is definitely a whole new chapter in our lives!

A typical lunch on the farm? Well not much is ever typical around here but I guess this is as close as it gets. I needed to have a hearty meal on the table and started out kind of late but hey... it all got done, including dessert and homemade mozzarella!

Trying a new thing- starting seeds inside (hopefully successfully)!
