DC is overexploiting the use of new Flashes. Most of them are more of the same. This one in particular caught my attention because it used the concept of the Sentry. That the world had forgotten.

In JSA #20 from 2001, Jay goes to say goodbye to his wife, because he might not survive the mission he's going on. She asks why they never talk about the son they lost, a writer that knew the character would have built on this story, instead of creating Judy Garrick.

Some writers take the trouble to do their research, but others seem like they've never read a comic. Now they justify everything with the appearance of Dr. Manhattan and his attempt to reshape the DC universe.
