You can fertilize your garden with coffee grounds. Coffee grounds make good organic fertilizer for gardens. Put fertilizer on plants to make then grow.

Creeping on animals with a secret camera
I have always been a creek walker with wonder. Thanks for letting me walk with.
Thank you. This winter I'm going out there to more creeks. Stay tuned.
Cool! I wonder if the flavor changes with ‘age’ … do larger cucumbers have stronger flavor?
Not that I know of which is a shame. I tried giving them away, but people are reluctant to take them because they don't look like store cucumbers. Thanks for watching.
Can you can them in mason jars?
They are too tender they would just turn to mush. We tried to eat them all fresh, but we gave up. There are just too many.
country dirt make history detecting videos great again 😩 . miss those brother . hope your well - Matt 🏴☠️🤝
I found a Spanish silver Reale right here in small town Illinois. The date is unreadable, but I can see that the second digit is a 7. It was a ghostly feeling standing in a field of nothing holding it in my hand. I have the federal census from this area, so I know the names of the people that lost it. I stopped making videos because out of 4000 subscribers less than 100 people would watch each new video. Out of that the majority of them swiped out before the halfway point meaning almost no one made it to the main point which I always put at the end. Maybe next spring I will try again. Thanks
@@countrydirtkid4451 sweet ! i have found only one Spanish Silver Half Reale here in southern IL but the date was wiped . my buddy dug an 8 Reale the other day in flawless shape 1802 . yeah man i know the struggle of the metal detecting history niche as well . so many channels in our niche now and with shorts it’s now harder than ever to get the algorithm to find us smaller channels and most people don’t want to watch a 15-20 min video anymore but oh well i just do it for fun and don’t ever plan to monetize . my son will be able to see my adventures now and him in some of the videos when he is older . hope to see you get back at it soon because i always enjoyed your content . - Matt 🤙🇺🇸🤝
Wow on the flooding, I did not think it reached your area. Sorry about your trail cam, at least the SD card worked. Fun to see raccoon’s swimming in the water.👏👍
Yup we get a massive flood here every year. I should have known better but I thought the camera was higher on the tree than what it was.
I make about 15 dollars per month from yewtoob ad revenue. It goes into an account that I keep for offsetting the cost making videos. I keep it for reasons such as this. Thanks for watching.
Very relaxing. TY
thank you, the camera is back out in the woods. I move it once a week. This time I put it over a log crossing in a flooded swampy wood. Stay tuned.
That Cat one bad dude 🐈⬛
Yup living out there with that coyote😄
Very cool, nice to see the buck and the baby as well. I find it interesting how the always follow the same path. We follow deer paths when we are in the thick woods. Great footage.
Finally. Great trail cam footage.
i LOVE trail cams hunting season or your backyard entertainment! that cat looks great, i sadly lost 1 this am.
sorry to hear that. Yes, it amazing what goes on when no one is there. This trail cam is presently set up overlooking an abandoned house in the woods. We will see if anything interesting walks by. thanks for watching.
Great footage, all of the animals must feel safe using the trail. The black cat needs a home, it is gorgeous. 👍👏😀
thank you, I put the camera out in front of an abandoned house this time. The ticks are really bad this year. Hopefully we get to see something cool.
No need to dry the seeds. I plant them straight from the pepper.
Is this trail cam video from January of 2020? I hope the cat will be okay. It's like it's following wherever the deer has gone.
The battery on the camera died so the date reset. This video is from this last week. I'm going to drive a ways away and put the camera in a new place this time. Thanks for watching.
Haha nice catches on the cam. To be honest, I would feel safer running in to the wild animals instead of the humans out in the wild…
The cat must have been abandoned because there isn't a house for miles.
You don't need to dry them out before planting. All the seeds I planted directly from fruit are doing much better then my dried seeds
Dang, I thought a big bass would be hiding in the Lilly pads.👍
No so much big bass but giant Muskie! We used to sit on the dock and put our feet in the water but not anymore after seeing the muskie.
Are there any brush piles in there? I wonder how much fishing pressure is on this lake? I see there’s golden shiners in there, got to be some nice large mouth. Mississippi River is closed , would you expect more than normal fishing today?
@@1minutetomidnight432 Yup there is lots of fishing going on, but it is mostly people casting topwater to bass that have seen every lure in the entire cabalas catalog. There are also people fishing the docs for bluegill using hooks that are way too big. I think showing up with 2 dozen live minnows and smaller hooks is the way to go. Good luck.
@@countrydirtkid4451 thanks for your reply, i just moved here from Rockford, and caught many large mouth 20 - 22 inches at pierce lake. I’m going out there for the first time this afternoon and will be looking for brush piles for crappie and weeds for largemouth
I could never eat them, but my dad ate them like candy. Nice tunes.😀👍
Do I need to plant each color seeds in order to get the red, orange, and yellow pepper?
Yes, they will be the color you take them out of. I have a feeling that the yellow and orange ones don't sprout as well as the red so you may need to put extra seeds of those in the cups you plant them in. Good luck.
@countrydirtkid4451 thank you so much for responding 💜
Absolutely awesome wild life cam footage. Your best yet. Thank you.👍👏😀
Thank you. I was all out of places to put the camera because it is so weedy out there right now. I found this one puddle full of leopard frogs and decided to put it there and see what happens. I'm working on another video right now and will have it posted soon. thanks
The mama raccoon looked to be limping when she was walking left to right, with her babies. I do love watching trail cam videos. Thank you for posting this one 😊
Definitely a bad foot. I saw that mother several times at this location, she is a good mother. The camera is back out there at a new location. Thanks for watching.
Would be nice to see you loading the trot into the bucket.
The plants use photosynthesis to create sugars that they can exchange with the bacteria/fungi in exchange for nutrients. The more sugar the plants can create, the more the bacteria will feed them. It's a symbiotic relationship. When the sugar content of the plant (BRIX content) gets high enough the plant will also stop feeding the microbes as they have all they need. Growth will also cease...To combat this, the microbes will start to create Volatile Organic Compounds to trick the plant into producing more sugars, further encouraging plant growth. When the sugar content of the plant (BRIX Content) is >13%, the plant is no longer seen as a food source for insects. This doesn't happen with chemical fertilizers which is why they are more prone to insect damage
Thank you, I never knew that. I will read up on that phenomenon. I also read that with synthetic fertilizers the leaf tissue has a backlog of easy to digest animo acids waiting to be connected into proteins by the plant. Insects sense this and are stimulated to reproduce explosively. Do you know anything about that? Thanks for watching.
What kind of cheese do you use? And why does it look red?
I use M n M Bait cheese which is just plain old bad cheese from a factory in Wisconsin. The reason why it looks weird colored is because I left it in a hot shed for a couple months
I have to wonder where was that male goose? Was this her first time hatching chicks?
A awesome video? I was surprised to see the snappy turtle and the pelicans so close to the nest and mother goose not scaring them off. The geese here are very protective and also usually have a bunch of babies. I am loving your our door animal videos, keep them coming.👍👏😀
Thankyou Its firefly season here so I need to go back out there and retrieve the camera and put it somewhere where an animal will trigger the camera into recording the fireflies. Stay tuned!
That was a wonderful video! Thanks for filming it! I was really surprised that only one egg hatched. I've never seen a mother goose or duck without a long line of babies following behind them.
Thank you, it was a ton of work to get out there and set up the camera. Its firefly season so I have to reset the camera in a good place to try and capture a scene with fireflies.
That is the biggest snapping turtle I have ever seen. Wonderful wildlife activity 👏
thanks, The other day I put the camera out on a tiny island on the local river overlooking a goose nest. I hope everything was set right. There were 6 eggs in the nest.
Man every place I ask for coffee grounds and they never give it to me. Like I asked Cumberland farms and they were like "sorry we can't give it"
I bet you they can, you just got to find when the right clerk is working.
Starbucks will give you the used coffee grounds
That was awesome! What an active little piece of water!
@countrydirtkid4451 0 seconds ago thanks, The other day I put the camera out on a tiny island on the local river overlooking a goose nest. I hope everything was set right. There were 6 eggs in the nest.
Why doesn’t my mcdonald’s do that ?
Because it's ghetto!
We are fixing to start our well clean out in missiouri
It was very scary looking down there. I bet you there are some old coins around the well somewhere.
Most coffee shops will give you their used coffee grounds, even Starbucks. Definitely worth stopping by any of them to grab some to add to your garden or compost.
Of all of the sources for items to go into a garden, that place is the very last source I would recommend utilizing.
I haven't eaten at a McD since the '70s but I am willing to stop in to grab used coffee grounds. Another benefit of used coffee grounds is it keeps deer away (at least here). I hang a tea bag (buy empties) filled with the grounds on my fruit trees deer don't eat the leaves.
I hope my nearest Mc is also giving away some too
Carbon credits, they get cash you take their trash.
My dad would mix used coffee grounds in with his garden soil. His tomato plants he would use the fish guts from our fishing for fertilizer. I love your chives, mine are in bloom as well. 👍
Thanks!
I use coffee grounds in my vegetable garden. I’ll check to see if McDonalds near me is giving them away. Thanks for the info
Despite the math of exponential growth being off, it was a good video
Thank you I can't remember what I was looking at before this video, but some other growth curve was on my mind. Thanks for watching.
You understand what that banjo music references, don't you? Lol.
Yup, good movie though. The producers did a good job of capturing the river atmospheres.
@@countrydirtkid4451 Well, okay, but it generally makes people think of the s-x scene... not so much the beauty of nature that is also in Deliverance. I liked your video and not trying to make trouble. Just pointing out the association that the Dueling Banjos intro makes people think of.
I enjoy watching you get your garden ready for the season. Great tip.👏😀
Thank you which one of you guys am I talking too?
It is Pat. Pam and I each have our own favorite channels we follow. We will be back out this weekend, hope to get a video. Pam was on vacation. Take care.👍
This is a great gardening tip.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge
Probably mushroom hunting
Yup, not a good spot though. For some reason there is never anything in those woods.
Trail cam always fun to watch.
Love your trail cam footage, very peaceful to watch. The guy on the other hand was a bit odd. Do you know who that is?👍👏
I don't know who, but it may have been someone looking for mushrooms because they were very awkward in the woods. I hiker would have been more at home there. These last 2 months are my exhausted months I should be able to make more videos sometime soon. Thanks for watching.
Hahahaha...
A healthy plant will always be more resistant to disease and insects. Not a mystery.
