I honestly never felt unsafe in the area. When you cross the street you’re walking right into SOHO, which in my opinion is one of the nicer areas in NYC!

I 100% agree that you pay for quality!

So where is the quality? Not in the software that's for sure. Not in the autofocus either. Lens? Not really. Craftmanship and image quality is all? €6000 is quite a steep price for a product that leaves a lot to be desired.

@@disadadi8958 As a Pro for 35 years I have used pretty much all there is from 10x8 to MF and MF digi - and Ic an tell you EXACTLY where the 'quality' is - but first I shall tell you where the quality is not- Fuji - terribly made, terrible software, terrible interface to iPad - reasonable aftercare. Hasselblad - better than Fuji - lens choice poor, the 907x 100c is a great thing, the interface works well but you have to download the full file otherwise it's terribly pixelated. Sony Canon, Nikon would not give tuppence for if I was a news shooter, or sports or wildlife though - they would be the cameras of choice - I was given a OSny a few years back to try - it fell apart after just two shoots - Leica - we have amongst our impressive arsenal a Q3, an SL2 (189mpx) and an SL3 for our reportage style fashion and editorial - no-one cares that its Leica except us - they are built like tanks - I accidentally dropped the Q3 on a pebble beach when the strap fell off my shoulder and just picked it up and carried on - the SL3 is not as built as robustly as the older SL2 but it is still quality - lenses - they are built like battleships, They will out-perfom almost everything in terms of edge to edge consistency including some MF (Fuji GFX again), - peerless simplicity, waterproof, and Leica FOTOs for iOS is the best there is - multiple cameras at one time - no drama - they just work. We also use Hasselblad X2D - we have two - they are great, better image data, robust, and a very close second to Leica. But the thing which for us works best of all is lens choice across formats, M, SL 'S' etc and battery compatibility. Even the straps are better made than any other camera I have used. Perhaps you would be kind enough to share your awful Leica experiences with us.

I found that switching off the geotagging (Leica Fotos connectivity) made a big difference for me.

I personally love to have the geo information with my photos though! It’s my favorite way to quickly find photos later.

This was actually the hardest for me to decide about this back, I went through a bunch of UA-cam videos and reviews trying to decide on this. Eventually I ordered both sizes and tried them on at home. After going back and forth between them I felt the 30L was still compact enough to be esthetically pleasing with the added benefit that it can hold a lot of stuff. I'm not using it at full capacity all the time, but the extra capacity has definitely come in handy when traveling! I hope this helps. Cheers!

Hi Jeff, that does sound kinda familiar. For myself I’m mainly trying to keep the bar pretty low with tho goal of keeping the habit going. I do however still experiment with a handwritten journal every now and then, and in those instances I will just take a picture of my writings and add them to Day One. Cheers from Belgium!
