I'm Belgian Rail and I make trainspotting for more or less two years now, but I've always been passionate about trains. I always wanted to share my hobby with you which is the reason why I started a channel.
My channel is based here in Belgium but sometimes I go to other countries when I'm free to see different trains.
My videos are posted every Sunday at 8 p.m. and a short video every Wednesday at 12 p.m., with a few exceptions.

On en voit souvent les jours où les frets sont plus fréquentées; les samedi et les mercredis, mais plus rarement les autres jours
@belgianrail1 Donc un mardi par exemple y'a rien ? Ça expliquerait pourquoi j'ai attendu 5h pour voir une Traxx à Testelt 😅
@ c’est pas le jour ideal pour spoter 😅. Mais parfois il peut y avoir des surprises. Les spots généraux je les fais souvent les mercredis ou Vendredi

Non c’est un simple TGV InOui Réseau qui fait le parcours Bruxelles-Midi -> Montpellier si je ne me trompe pas. Le TGV M est à double étage.

Il roule pas à du 200km/h mais plutôt à du 160km/h sinon belle vidéo
Non non c'est belle et bien 200 km/h sur les lignes centrales (L36N). Sur les lignes extériueures c'est 130 si je ne me trompe pas.
Non il roule à du 160 km/h c’est à partir de Louvain et Ans qu’il roule à du 200km/h car c’est une ligne à haute vitesse ( HSL 2 ) et que la L36N c’est une classique limitée à du 160km/h surtout que la caténaire et tjrs à du 15000kv et pas à du 25000kv
@ les trains sont toujours aptes à rouler à du 200 meme sous du 3kv. Si tu me crois toujours pas, regarde d’autres vidéos que j’ai mises sur la même ligne et calcule la durée que prend un train pour passer ensuite calcule sa longueur pour avoir sa vitesse en m/s. Simple calcul en plus pour prouver qu’ils vont à 200.

I see more video's on youtube which say trains are running 200 km/h on this line, but the vMax = 160 km/h. Besides the TGV type and ECI trains, most trains are maximum capable of 160 km/h
No. Not fully correct. In some parts of this line the max speed is like 140km/h until you get up to around Haren-zuid or Diegem. Then the line speed increases to 200 after Zaventem, where trains like the m7, HLE 18 or ICE can increase their speed up to that limit thanks to the ETCS safety system the line 36N. Line 36 is limited to 130 if I’m not wrong. They slow back down to 160 to pass Leuven then continue back up to 200 on the HSL 2 to Liege.

Je comprends la frustration mais c’est pas la peine de dire que juste à cause de ça vous n’allez pas du tout voyager avec le train en Belgique. Je suis d’accord que les trains SNCB sont mal entretenus quand on parle de tagues mais appart ça c’est des trains assez fiable comparé à d’autres pays. 😊

hi Is there a elevator for both the platforms at the station. I came some 7 years back but I can't remember , I wanted to bring my mother to Hergé Museum but she uses a wheelchair so it will be good to know if there is a lift ?
Hi, sorry for the late answer but after coming to this station recently several times I am not aware of any elevators in the station. However if you come by bus, there normally shouldn’t be any steps until you reach the Hergé museum.
