I think it's because it's a .tk domain that it says that.. I've downloaded the game multiple times and have never had an issue but you should use your own judgement.

You don't need Mods to play but they add enhancements. The HD mod makes it prettier and the Mod maps add variety 👍

We both play as US soldiers against each other when using the rifle. When using the sniper rifle we both play as the Germans as their support rifle is better.

No it's from before that period. Call of Duty was the first to start doing that in a mainstream game, Operation Flashpoint was one of the first on the PC. I believe the makers of Allied Assault went on to product the Call of Duty series. When ya play the original D-Day mission in Allied Assault, it's very Call of Duty-like, very cinematic, so you can tell it's the same people.

We don't play online with other people, we use a VPN for a LAN game but there are servers still out there for you to connect to 👍
