was still billed as such.
Love it! Such a happy song. Makes ya smile. 🥰
🤍🪽🇳🇬🎶
I think I was there at this show - I think I was at every show they ever played in the Hudson Valley . Hey the Chance right there was where I saw their very first show at a WDST Christmas extravaganza ( Or Holiday show in todays parlance ) in .... 1996 ! 💚
I think I was at every Skaters World show you have on here. Kenny, the guy who booked the shows there, was a legend.
People don't realize how close both Edna's Goldfish and The Hippos came to entering the mainstream. Unfortunately the 2000's ushered in more immediate change than expected and Ska was void.
The hippos actually were on a major label. Wasting my life was on the radio everywhere. But you’re right. The bubble popped right as they were up and coming. Shame cause that heads are gonna roll album is incredible.
@@danielpursino2020 and EG had signed with a major label after the 2nd album. But called it quits soon after. Epic I beleive. Agree. Heads are Gonna Roll is a great album. Got to see them on that album tour with the Aquabats.
Love it
Fuck Sammy, this song is one of the best Ska songs ever recorded

How these guys weren't massive I don't know..
Remind me of a lightened up husker DU
Yes, and that is good indeed.as sometimes they kind of husker drag if you know what I mean.
I was at that show and it was incredible!
I’m half in the bag and got into a 90s NY/NJ ska dig and found all these skaters world shows I went to. Such a trip.
Anybody have any live videos for the band that Brian joined after this, The Reunion Show?
Omg ! That’s me on trumpet ! My wife and kids (who wont stop laughing) thank you so much - lol !
when's the reunion? haha
@@BryanKremkau yes! I’m in… it’s time! … “news team assemble! ! ! ! “ I tried pinging the guitar player on FB, no response yet, will try again.
Wow 👍👍👍
The lead singer tried to become a Rasta. It wasn’t pretty, to say the absolute least.
Oh to see you perform in Melbourne !
Solid set. They sound great live. Would pay to see again. 2021.
This is Gold
Most underrated ska band, saw them twice and wish I got see them more
<3 Happy , loveable, danceable music from Norway!
HOW FUCKING LUCKY WERE YOU TO HAVE BEEN THERE! EDNAS GOLDFISH IS THE BEST
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this was on skank down under moon ska comp 1996. i loved that whole cd Edit.. no alcohol wasn't on there, but 2 other porkers songs were on there!
Pretty sure I was at this show. 🤘🏾
this is the height of this pilfers era
Awesome, Nov. 28th is my birthday! Seen them in Miami probably around 98
Yooo, this is dope. I was at this show. Before I was RotoBaller :). Their concerts were so sick!
I sure would have liked to see these guys live. I don't know what they are up to these days but it would be bad ass if they just suddenly came out of the wood work and released another album.
a lot of members are playing with members of hub city stompers down in VA for supernova ska festival in june. they haven't played music with each for decades.
That's my cousin on keyboard!
These guys rock!!
marist college groupies sent me here.
I knew Rob Bell when he was a busboy at Cicero's in the Loop. I've been called a Hoosier even though my father taught accounting @ St Louis University and my mother had a lib art's degree from Fontbonne and I'm a lifelong Democrat who grew up playing R&B around St Louis. Some people judge others superficially .... hmmm what is the word for that kind of person
Bergen 🌊
thanks for the footage. my favourite ska band from the time i got their CD (aprox. 2002-2003) till now. just yesterday was cruisin around the hood with "Cure for what ales you" blasting from the car speakers. cheers
такая же история) правда цд купил в 2004 кажется)

@@BigBROrussia согласен! но в моем случае - рандомная палатка у домодедовской))
They have a few good songs, but nothing earth shattering.
great song
This deserves WAY more views.
Thanks for posting! I loved and still love this band. Caught them at a summer fest in Modesto CA in 99.
One of my favorite third-wave bands. Saw them at phantasmagoria in 1997 and it was a kind of touchstone moment in my life. Great live back then and now.
is that jeff rosenstock and dan p ???? hell ya!!!!!!!
I'm gonna see these guys in august 2018 I cant wait !!!!!
that is one fucking tight shirt
Love the drummer!
LOL is this the slow gherkin drummer? his time is SO SO straight. it's such a big shift.
Man... i fucking miss this band so damn much....
I was just starting to get rolling as a full time player and my room mate managed bands in the scene. We were always an open house for touring acts, and Pilfers would crash at our place when they were in the region. Such nice folks, and always brought the heat on stage. An underappreciated gem of the last wave ska.
saw these guys 20 years ago at the Galaxy. Time sure does fly
Holy Shit, I cried when I came upon this video. Awesome, the good Ole days!
I was there!
lucky
Now I gotta figure out how to get that day off from work...
