Hornby Dublo 3 rail final layout configuration
Apologies for the vast interval between this latest video and the original. Been tied up playing Elden Ring on my Playstation mostly, plus running the electric bike out over most of the summer plus other stuff. Also further apologies for my monotonous commentary. I'm no classically trained Richard Burton, it's really only for other like minded modellers !! This was filmed trying out my new GoPro 11, and not very happy with it up to now. On my initial playback through my PC there were various sound glitches that also affected the video clip at the same time. This doesn't seemed to have manifested itself after the UA-cam processing, so I'm not sure at the moment what the problem was, needs a lot more testing, but I'll leave this video as it is, at least it's viewable, if far from perfect, so sorry again. All build stages for the layout are viewable through my Instagram channel. Nothing else to report, happy viewing.

Shengmilo MX05 EBike run, my first electric bike ( Part 6 )
Переглядів 479Рік тому
Probably my final clip in the little touring series. This time I start from the main coast road near the foot of my hill. Traveling towards Balchik which is the main local town. The route I'm taking brings me to a steep hairpin track which takes me down to a custom built route running parallel to the sea, eventually taking me into the pedestrian area overlooking the Balchik seafront. When I rea...

Leaving for home along the main exit road from the resort, then up the long steepish drag along the main coast road. Bike handled it on straight throttle, no pedal assist. I made the first incline at the foot of my road with pedal assist 5, got half way up the second bit which is the steepest part of the road, which is very steep. Small amount of walk - pushing next, then cycled the rest of the...

Apologies for not posting for some time, and for the poor sound quality throughout most of the videos ( Parts 1 thru' to 5 ) I didn't realize some parts were inaudible. However, I do not think this will detract from the content. It isn't a review of the bike as such, just of me giving it a run out from my home in Golden Fish Village, down to, around and back, from my local resort of Albena, a f...
Hornby Dublo 3 rail Layout.
Переглядів 4822 роки тому
A few years ago I bid for and won a number of Hornby Dublo related items at a Cheltenham auction. Due to a number of factors, ( Covid restrictions, (which luckily I managed to avoid contracting ), and me being mainly located in Bulgaria while all of the hardware was in the UK, meant that my layout construction plans were put on hold. However, I decided to build the general layout foundation in ...
My Guesthouse in Golden Fish area near Albena
Переглядів 1643 роки тому
Here's a pre-covid video of the Guesthouse I own in Bulgaria, taken a couple of years ago. I've since upgraded the bar, added double glazing to all of the second and third storeys, and laid down bark chippings to replace the sparse grass area. I'll try and get around to making a follow up for a before and after view if anyone is interested. I moved here with my daughter in 2004 and share my tim...
Springer Narrowboat

My Springer Narrowboat moored along the arm of the Stroudwater Canal, adjacent Saul Marina and the Sharpness Canal. Just been blacked, will be going up for sale soon. I made this vid a couple of years ago, but put it on now just for anyone who may be interested. Just something to mull away the time in the current world lockdown.

Ty and Mick take a leisurely Ski down the Aiguille.
Did you get a top speed?
On the flat from a standing start, no pedal assist, just over 25 mph. Downhill depending on gradient, up to 40 mph.
My expert friend uses all sorts of methods to axchieve puncture proof inc slime inner guards and pp tyres not cheap but relatively essential
I am going to line the inner wall adjacent to my tyre tread with some thicker rubber stripping. Every one of my 7 or 8 punctures have been caused by just thorns alone.
Whereabouts is that pl. Thanks
Hi. I am situated very near Albena, the resort which I am cycling around, which is north of Varna on the Black Sea coast, Bulgaria.
Does require to have plates or insurance to drive it in EU?
It doesn't in Bulgaria as far as I am aware, but I don't know about the rest of Europe
Eu regulations, max speed is 25 km/h, over 25 you have to register it as a moped, not allowed to ride everywhere and you need insurance.
Head camera is really not working. But your boat is very nice 🎉
Great love it
Thanks very much !!
Really enjoyed this hope your phone is working ade
Thank you for the tour. It looks very functional quite homey.
What is the top speed unlocked ?
Very sorry for my late reply, I missed the notification for your query. I haven't unlocked it, but I can get nearly 30mph on the flat, and up to 35mph downhill throttle only.

I co sadzisz o tym rowerze .? Masz wersje 15Ah czy juz 17.5 Ah plus hamusce shimano ?
Hello. I'm very pleased with the bike so far, although I have had five punctures over the last two weeks. Despite the website stating puncture resistant tyres, this is not the case in reality. Having said that, all of the punctures were caused by tiny thorns which I think would have penetrated most other manufacturers tyres as well. I have now inflated to a higher 26 PSI instead of 20 PSI to try and see if it makes a difference. The max inflation recommendation is 35 PSI so I could go higher. The Battery that is now supplied with this bike is 17.5 AH. The brakes are oil Shimano.
Hi,I'm Maksim living in Golden Fish Balchik. I have SHENGMILO MX02S. If you still Balchik we can see each others bike.
Hi. I live in Golden Fish all the time, can meet up any time. I live Street 8 up the hill from Fiesta Bulgaria. Had a lot of punctures, still fixing. Let me know for meet if you want.
OK ,thanks 🙂
Hi , I was passed your home today at 19.30h your wasn't there 😊
Hi Actually i live in london and thinking to buy shengmilo mx05. I want to know your experience regarding this and please tell me did u face any problem after buying this ebike or are you happy with this? Also please tell me from where you bought this ebike ?
Hello. So far no problems whatsoever with this bike. I did have a puncture in the back tyre which was unfortunate, and took a couple of hours to repair with a patch, but overall I am very pleased with the overall performance. I had no problems in acquiring this bike. I am in Bulgaria at the moment, and I ordered it from one of my local websites EMAG.
Please tell me when did you buy this ebike? Actually i am buying this ebike for delivery purpose so that means i have to use this ebike daily. Also Please tell me your opinion whether i should buy or not ? Could you also provide me information about for how much time it can run per charge ?

I would recommend it to somebody thinking of buying one. I would confidently estimate a range of 50 miles on one charge using the pedal assist.
Thx ☺️
@@tyltyman69what's Bulgaria like? Looks like a ropey Spain from these videos
How tall are you is there just one bike size I’m 6ft 1 and was wonder if this would be big enough thanks lee
Hello. Yes it is one size only. I am six feet tall with long legs. I set my saddle stem to the maximum height which is zero on the white line around the stem tube. When I sit on the bike, the tips of my toes rest on the ground equally. So in my opinion you should be comfortable riding the bike.
Hello, I see you from Spain, I see that you have traveled quite a few kilometers with your new M05, what is your opinion about it in terms of quality-price? How many kilometers do you do with it without recharging? Thank you very much, greetings.
So the bike cost just under 1500 euro with delivery. Very pleased with it so far, I think it is a good deal for the price, cosmetically looks extremely well put together.. Haven't run down the battery yet as I charge it up after every trip. The most I've done so far is around 20 miles using just throttle and maybe 30 percent pedal assist. The power bar was fluctuating between half and three quarters charged. So I'm guessing that using those parameters, one should be able to achieve a 50 mile run on one charge. Just a confident estimation. I've actually just got my first puncture, unfortunately in the rear tyre. Allow for up to a good hour plus to repair and replace. And that's having all of the necessary tools to hand. Was a minute thorn, so don't believe it when the tyres are advertised as puncture resistant. Had it been the quick release front one, then not nearly so much of a problem.
muchísimas gracias por tu respuesta. saludos desde España. @@tyltyman69
This is Bulgaria
Cool boat, thanks for sharing.
A lovely little boat. I wonder who has her now?
Great boat. But how much is the mooring yearly for a boat that size?
Well I've since sold it, but at the time, my mooring fee was approx £1300 a year. But that was because I had an exclusive membership with a club who rented that particular arm of the canal. So you would be looking around £1500 upwards if you were in a marina I reckon. Plus £650 plus cruising fee around the canal system.
Stunning,stunning stunning
Lovely. How much for one?
For you, £20000. Will be up for sale soon
Make sure you get an out of water survey for hull thickness.
Lovely boat. Where is that wood from on the back of the bathroom door? I absolutely love the design!
If you're talking about the strip effect on the back of the toilet cubicle door, it's actually self adhesive wood effect which was in there when I purchased the boat. Maybe from somewhere like B&Q or similar. Just guessing.
What,s with all the gun fire......
Just a few guys from the local gun club taking care of the ex mother-in-law for me ................................ Actually think it could have been a pheasant shoot at the time of filming.
Bet the pheasants wish they were swans
That’s a 38ft boat? (Springer)?
Sure is.
@@tyltyman69 thanks. Just about big enough as a single persons live aboard. 35-45ft seems the sweet spot.
Yup, fine for a single like myself. Also ok for a couple at a push but they would need to be prepared to live "light" so to speak.
Lovely looking boat.
nice boat
Nice work
Thinking of getting one of these boats. You’ve done a great job 👍
Love your boat, wish I could live on the canals.
I AM FROM BERMUDA YOU HAVE DONE A GHREAT JOB ON YOUR BOAT
