It's a delicious beer, in my opinion.

Fun fact. We had a crowler of Crafty Ales & Lagers Belgian strong ale in the back of the fridge for a couple years. Held up! Nice haul and please for the love of god, get a Chaplin in the house to exercise the demons and take away the bad juju! Cheers 🍻

Don’t care for the base Larceny, however I do like the barrel proof. Not sure if you practice putting a few drops of water in the higher barrel proof bourbons but I tend to do that to me it seems to open up the whiskey a bit. Cheers 🍻

Yep, you’re right. All of them were interesting for what the style said. I wanted to see what someone would think blind because they’re all just a bit off style wise. This one I thought was an Irish stout up until the end of the video even though I didn’t do it blind haha. I do like this one a lot though. Cheers dude!

Not my intention! This one was an interesting one. I don't think it's very belgian-y but it's a solid beer but it has some characteristics you wouldn't expect. Given how thrown we were when we reviewed it, I think you did well. I really wanted to see if we were just crazy. Mike and I bought it in March I believe and got the same characteristics as you. It's a good beer but not I wouldn't call it belgian.

It's crazy how our brains play tricks on us, building associations to things we know - more evidence that we're less in control of our thoughts and ideas than we think. Cheers man!

That’s a different smoked beer! I sent an Oak Aged Smoked beer last time. I actually thought it was the same beer until I got home then I got even more excited because I haven’t had it either. 😂

Cheers man! I looked it up on Untappd and they give the lemongrass and lime notes that you mentioned, but that the notes come from Motueka hops. Nice job - glad to hear/see that you're feeling better!
