I have been playing both Dark Cloud and Dark Cloud 2 respectively since 2016 when I got it on PlayStation Store as part of PS2 Classics.

What a fcuking game this was. Completed it as a teenager and the emotional rollercoaster I experienced. Was never an emotional kid but the emotions I experienced throught the storyline. Laguna being Squalls dad, Raine his mum, Ellone his sis, Lagunas and Raines adopted daughter, the party all being at the same orphanage as kids, thinking Squall died at the end...man oh man. If only they made a movie of this game!!!

Does anyone know the name of this track? This is one of my favorite tracks in the game and it's only used in this scene and when you go to one spot in the Northern Crater on your way to the final boss fights.

I always loved having the entire battle play out as long as possible so that ALL dialogue was spoken between the main characters. Particularly in this fight, the fight against Dycedarg, ALL Wiegraf battles, and the Trio of Templar Knights.

Infamous ? It can be one of the most beautiful scene in every final fantasy ever. That if you are a teenager when you play the game for the first time. And it's not a critic or a big brain irony. Its a simple fact. Some game and especially Final fantasy hits different when you are younger. Ff8 was build with a teenager in mind with the pad.

I remember back in high school when it came to this part, my best cried laughing at this scene.

@10:26 I just realized the statue / decor on the wall directly behind Rinoa in this shot looks similar to the vessel that imprisoned Adele, and it kind of looks like Rinoa is hung up. In the original ballroom dance scene you can see the top part of this statue but the camera is always angled to prevent showing the lower half. In the original ballroom scene if you look closely there are statues and pillars that seem to be designed to look like some of the sorceress enemies you encounter in Ultimecia's castle.
