I have a 2017 f150 5.0 and looking to do this exact setup. I tow a small trailer daily so nothing too loud but and increase in the deep v8 sound.

Could you possibly get a cold start of this exhaust setup?

Yet another car built in the gasser style, that would not have passed tech inspection at any track back then nor should it today . First the ten and twelve spoke front wheels were legal for use on Altered, but not on gassers, second Moon style gas tanks mounted outside of the body had to have protective guarding around them . Third, the centerline of the crankshaft was to be no more than 24 inches off of the ground . Just because you can, doesn't mean that you should, your actions could trigger new laws that affect us all .

great video. one of the interesting things about classic car EV conversions and EV's in general is that they represent _orders of magnitude_ less complexity then a gas engine... very very simple so anyone involved in cars can quickly understand the components and what things can fail. It isn't often that technology can move forward and get drastically more simple! I'd love to see you guys do some EV conversions. I know that they don't have some of the same appeal of gas car sounds and smells... but it is nice to find ways to have the charm of a classic vehicle survive into the upcoming new world. Thanks for the video!

would love to see classic car experts like you guys show some process of an EV conversion and all the ways that an classic car EV conversion can be made really beautiful and clean. A classic car that runs on sunlight seems like a dream right now.

Have the same year and 2-door model…. All original…6 cylinder- standard trans. “3 on-the-tree”. Bought it few years ago for my son and me project (Jessie James job). Always wanted to build a gasser though. Going to take some time (and $$ )to get ours looking like that !!! NICE JOB ! … ( what’s with the ‘54 tail lights ? The ‘53 lights remind me of the ‘56 tails ( had a ‘56 back in the day)

😳😲My God why do they keep destroying these beautiful classics and doing that to them specially the 53s and 54 Chevys those are such beautiful forgotten classics and then they do this stuff too them my God it ought to be a law against that, that should be a felony to whoever destroys a car like that that looks hideous.they continue to do that to the classics they're going to be obsolete, they no longer are going to exist in the original shape, we're trying to preserve them and people are destroying them😢
