it isn't wrong to give criticism- it's wrong to *hate on others unjustly.* i understand that this may have been just poor wording, but telling people that criticism is inherently rude is a harmful mindset that will only hurt others.
Good and helpful criticism is fine but I draw the line when someone blatantly hates on your work and calls it "criticism", that is what is wrong. I do admit my wording was off but I still got the point I was trying to make across.
