Welcome to my little corner of the kitchen! I love cooking and perfecting recipes!
I started eating gluten free in 2011 due to some health issues and have been navigating this puzzle for over a decade now. I have done some trial and error cooking, but over the years I have been perfecting the recipes of my favorite foods in this gluten free journey. My daughters are growing up and wanted to be able to carry on recipes we have in our house and create memories with their own families; so that started this idea of recording dinners, desserts, and coffees!

Sausage and Peppers Pasta
Ingredients:
- 2 Green Bell Peppers
- 2 Red Bell Peppers
- 2 Onions
- 3 Jars Pasta Sauce
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 lb Italian Sausage Links
- 6 oz Can Tomato Paste
- 1 Tablespoon Parsley
- 1 Tablespoon Basil
- 1 Tablespoon Garlic Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Onion Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Season Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Italian Seasoning
- 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 box of Gluten Free Penne Noodles
- Parmesan Cheese
- Gluten Free Texas Toast
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In Pyrex, place Italian Sausage and cook until well done. Chop bell peppers and onions. Pour in the pasta sauce to the stock pot. Add in tomato paste. Combine all spices and mix in with sauce. Add in a splash of olive oil. On medium to high heat in a skillet, Brown the ground meat and bell peppers and onions, add to the stock pot when well done. Cut up italian sausage links and put in stock pot. Stir all together. Simmer the sauce. In a pot, boil water, add in gluten free noodles. Set timer for 10 minutes. After about 8 minutes splash in some olive oil. Drain noodles after 10 minutes. Add in noodles with the sauce. Plate sausage and peppers pasta and add some parmesan cheese to the top!
You can serve with gluten Texas Toast!
