This isn't necessarily a speedrun since I was using a quicksave right before the bossfight. Cats are BS.
There is no way this is truly useless.

I remember finding that out once!- Some random thing I realised that might also be useless (and maybe unsurprising) is you can also hit the core eject with the coin normally, neither needs to be shot
It's not useless. Blowing yourself up can kill anyone around you
this could actually be used for rocket jump holy shit
And yet, it exists. If it's not patched, I expect this to be in the fastest full game P% speedrun by Friday.
