There Goes My Heart (2024 Stereo Remix) - Joni James

“There Goes My Heart” by Joni James was first released in 1953. This stereo remix originates from a rare stereo 45 rpm record. I centered the lead vocal and removed most of the major clicks and other surface noises.

Make It Baby (The Crossover) - Jimmy Richards & The Grooves {Stereo}
Переглядів 27710 місяців тому
An extremely rare single from 1957 which Ray Conniff made under the pseudonym "Jimmy Richards & The Grooves". This is his own composition and was originally published on his album "Dance The Bop" as an instrumental first (the original title is in parenthesis after the title of the song). Producer Mitch Miller obviously liked it very much and suggested to make a vocal version of it. So Conniff t...

Hoagy Carmichael was a great musician who IMHO didn't get the recognition he deserved. He did ok after making his appearance in To Have and Have Not. But his music is great!! He was on that old western show Laramie for a few years too. Good guy
always loved this performance
What the heck?! This is fantastic! A dream come true!
Love all Four Aces tracks thanks for posting these......
Eu assisti um filme que tocou está música no fim. Muito bom dia valeu
The photo attached here is of the Connecticut garage band "Pentagons," a far cry from the early '60s classic San Bernadino California doowop soul vocal group that we hear on this posting.
It's my understanding that composers Hilliard & Garson submitted this song to KAPP records in 1962 and that it was intended to be a ballad recorded by crooner Jack Jones. Somehow, Akron, Ohio's R&B quintet, Ruby & the Romantics gained access, put it to a bossa nova beat, and took it to #1 in March, 1963. Wonderful recording.
I really can
Rachanee Suzie Q. Many thanks for these lovely songs that I will still always in my mind. I love Brian's voice since I was 17 go on 18 now I am 78.and.I love to listen to him. Thank you so.much. For your sharing.. it's make the old guy very very happy.. Thanks..😊❤😊
I like this. Melody is the Johnny Dollar radio series theme.
VERY nice.
Nice job John!
Another great conversion on your part, John.
Thank you very much, Harry.
One of favorites sweetheart of the 60s
Thanks for listening.
Beautiful song, for my Beautiful kitty.
Thanks for listening.
Another great remix to stereo. Could you please weave your stereo magic on 2 songs by Bobby Rydell "The Fish" and "Cherie". Thank you in advance.
Thank you, Ricky. I will see what I can do.
A great stereo mix from the blind singer! His other hit was the vocal version of the Les Baxter's 'Unchained Melody' 10 years before the Righteous Brothers version.
Thank you, Albert.
Joni James another favorite female artist of mine in the 1950s. This was again issued on M-G-M 12706 and reached #19 on Billboard in October 1958. Another song is the Skeeter Davis hit My Last Date (With You), a modest #38 hit in January 1961. Keep up the good work and first time stereo John!
Thanks, will do!
Another nice job, John. Keep it up!
Thanks, will do!
This is truly a great song from the 60's and I have it in mono. But in this stereo version, the drummer is insane on this. Listen @ this guy kill the drums through out this song. The DES stereo version allows you to hear ALL the instruments being played and in tune with Barbara's lovely voice.
Thanks.
Most of Mary's 20th Century Fox songs seem to be in mono. Thanks for this stereo treat!
You're welcome. I have posted a newer mix from a better original mono source. Here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/4RY_xEdEkbY/v-deo.html Also from Mary on the 20th Century label - Ever Lovin' Boy: ua-cam.com/video/A5D-3XK-VTs/v-deo.html
I love the backing vocals throughout. Sounds like a female doing that main backing "oooh". Very buried in the mix but they still come through and enhance the otherworldly space-age pop element already there with the phase effect.
Glad you liked it.
They had a great first tenor. Time travel.
I agree. I'm working on more of their songs.
@@suhatu "No, Not Much" would be stereo worthy. But so would them backing Johnny Ray.
Great work! This sounds *exactly* the way i imagined/wanted a stereo version to sound - thanks for sharing!
You're welcome and thank you!
It's Mr Sandman and not what you called it on your video LOL!
I think I spelled out Mister instead of using the abbreviated Mr.

Thank you again for another great transformation to stereo of this classic hit.
My pleasure!
simple yet effective. ^_^
Thanks
A beautiful song from long ago. Very much enjoyed hearing it again.
Glad you enjoyed it
John. Another nice conversion on your part.
Thanks 👍
I liked this song since my childhood. But in stereo it is even better! Thanks, John! Well done!
You're welcome and thank you, Ingo!
Nice one, John! Like it!👍
Thank you, Ingo. Glad you like it!
Thanks, John.
You're welcome, Dave
Another beauty from Guy with Mitch Miller's Orchestra and Chorus. However, it did not make the Billboard, but peaked at #2 on the UK charts in July 1953. His previous single release 'Look At That Girl' could also be on your next list! That single also missed out on Billboard, but reached #1 on the UK charts in June 1953.
Thank you, Albert, for requesting this song. And thank you for the information /history.
Columbia single; probably produced by either Ray Conniff or Mitch Miller; it has that feel to it. Nice job, John. This is a keeper. Taragon may have done a stereo of this but they didn't have the technology to do panning of the various elements at the time they did this. Nice placement.
Thank you very much, Harry!
Thank you for transforming this track to Stereo. Keep Up The good work.
You're welcome, Ricky. I will try to keep the conversions coming. Thanks for another fun song request!
I also have that Taragon CD in my collection. Another track to convert would be 'Gilly, Gilly Ossenfeffer' from July 1954, #18 on Billboard. Albert
Albert, I do have more of The Four Lads songs on my list for conversion to stereo. "Gilly, Gilly Ossenfeffer" is on that list! :)
John, this song appeared in true stereo back in 2000 on Taragon CD TARCD-1079.
Dave, thanks for letting me know.
This is a beautiful song to fall asleep to.
Glad you liked it. Thanks for listening!
Every Boomer will remember this theme with great fondess. :)
:) I heard it just about every week. Thanks for listening!
Bring back memories for me, the 70' was the best of time
Glad you liked it. Thanks for listening!
Orale. Slow Jam for the ages. Thank you.
You're welcome!
Nice conversion.
Thanks, Harry.
Memories of my adolescence, when there were still "good and bad" and life seemed simpler to me...
Times seemed to be a lot more simple then. Thanks for listening!
@@suhatu Thanks for your kind reply. Times TRULY WERE SIMPLER. People were simpler and more authentic... AND HEALTHIER! Greetings from Buenos Aires!
Nice conversion of a very unknown version of this song.
Thanks, Harry.
The vocal version of the popular orchestral/instrumental hit by Billy Vaughn and The String-A-Longs. His version was originally released on Leader L-814 single in February 1961 and produced by Norman Petty. Johnny later turned to country music in the 1970s.
Thanks, Albert. Great insight into this song. And thanks again for requesting it!
The flip side also charted in Pensacola, FL. Another nice rendering in DES of an obscure single. Thanks much!
Thank you too!
Another good job, John.
I appreciate that, Harry.
