How my cohealers hit damage events, mostly evangelism on its own is FAR powerful enough, but on Ovi'nax I opted to almost solo the containers, so I eventually started dabbling in combining just to carry my earlier atonements into my last few big casts, instead of hit the egg breaks that we had a holy paladin with avenging crusader / aura mastery etc on

You only play this build on Ulgrax, Broodtwister and ky'veza. The rest are the standard mindbender build ;D

@@CS-ns3xb Disc is a ramp healer, so we want to apply 10 single target atonements --> radiance radiance for our wider ramps, so I only apply enough to cover the raid, preparing for damage and then ideally hitting my dps spells as damage goes out ;D But yeah you still use shields for indemnity, and flash heal for binding heal at the tail end, since it applies atonement to target player and yourself with one cast.

@@CS-ns3xb For uppies, I forgot to add a paragraph, broodtwister and ky'veza disc wants to play full uppies, that is to say specced into ultimate penitence all the way into overloaded with light, this lets us hit the 2 biggest problem spots on the boss with very hard hitting hps cooldowns.

Yeah it just fits like a slipper, you have it up for each venomous lash phase quite safely, and you always get to play the 2x rad voidwraith --> uppies --> 2x rad voidwraith on the lashes in p1

Yeah, you apply your 10 single target atones --> voidwraith --> mind blast --> rad rad. The reason is to have collapsing void detonate inside most possible atonements, and because we can't leverage the full voidwraith duration inside non-evang ramps.

Everybody prefers different methods, I anchor myself to bigwigs timers, so I still have timers. I just know so well through the excessive amount of raiding I do in 2 mythic guilds where all of my buttons and cds go ;D

I was specced into full uppies, in other words I went all the way down to overloaded with light, which makes uppies apply 10 atonements on cast

idk if I'm the bad healer, or my other buddys are blasting but, that shamy and hpaly doesn't seem thaaat big of a deal, on my raid I strugle to get on second in hps.

Yeah, with the strat to skip a bunch of eggs in 3rd spot, you send lust to deal with empowered worms then push boss in that spot at the 6 minute mark, you have every cd back up basically

I don't make guides because Warcraftpriests does such an excellent job I can't recommend that discord enough. If you don't want to join a discord, Icy veins is maintained by the same people! Will link below. But to explain for your question, When we ramp, our main ramps we always try to hit atleast 18, ideally 20 players which means atonement is transferred evenly to every player with atonement. Anytime we are not spreading atonement to every raider, obviously the people without atonement end up being in more danger, but radiance applies atonement very smart, so it prefers **targets that have no atonement and that are lowest health** everytime, which means that you can usually expect to pick people up with smaller ramps. This boss isnt very friendly to disc idd, I am just not playing on a level where I need to play the most optimal spec on any boss ;D Disc is defo crazy on Ovi'nax though!

Killed it a bunch on mythic, but its a very boring fight. I could upload one from next weeks reclears probably, but I just cycle voidwraiths on every crimson rains and 2x rads on each crimson rain and nothing really changes until goresplatters

No longer relevant, but its a twilight equilibrium bug with our amirdrassil 4 set, where, if we sent a cast sequence correctly we got the twilight equilibrium buff for 2 of our hard hitting spells without weaving an additional holy spells inbetween. Sadly can't be used anymore tho

No worries about the long message. Disc is super good right now, especially in heroic imo, but in mythic, some fights really filter out disc priests. Rasha'nan moves far more often on mythic, and disc simply can't contend with the required mobility. Also Ky'veza / silken court is looking very very bad for us in terms of the constant movement. I would love to review peoples vods or logs, they can be sent on discord and I can take a look at them, I will even upload videos of me talking over them publicly if people want that

@@Bobzgfx are you going to stick with disc on all of the mythic fights regardless of the mobility issues?

In heroic specifically its super good on every boss, and I think it shines very very well on broodtwister and Ky'veza. In mythic, disc definitely isn't doing too hot right now because of the increased mobility requirements on the later bosses.
