My hero

Hey thanks mate.. good stuff 👌🏼
Can you make a Longer video explaining this?
Thank you big dawg !
very helpful video, thanks!
how can you to import music from Spotify ?
You need a third party program like Deemix or ViWizard. They cost a bit of $, but still cheaper than paying for each song individually.
How did you get the 'zoomaudiodevice' to show up in Ableton? I'm not seeing that as an option.
You are awesome ♥️♥️
I have a dj machine and a zoom 3 don't know how to hook up can you help me
did all the steps so many times and still failed lol smh
its better with a lowpass 24dB
Hi! Can I connect with u please? I will pay u for your time. I need help connecting my traktor pro 3 to my traktor s3 controller and get all my music. Tk u very much
They probably made it with Massive’s modern talking wavetable back then. Nice vid tho!

Met you back in 2015 at faeriecon, I still listen to this from time to time, love it 🫵💥
Daaang thank you so much! I have new sets on my soundcloud, and music on spotify if you are interested. I'll DM you.
Doesn't look like I can DM you. I put an active link in the description above!

How can you do this on windows
Good stuff, short and sweet.
Do you have a link to the next video?

we need more shorts from you brotha!
When I'm sharing the screen and I press play it buzzes and doesn't playback correctly. Do you know why that is?
Bro this was awesome
Thank you!
great help bro
Could you do this in Vital?
Vital is virtually the same as serum bruh😂 just transfer what he did over to vital
Yes of course
Pretty much yeah. In the distorsion options you have downsample. You should use an envelope w/ the distorsion filter cutoff Ladder or analog filter for the oscillators might be enough
👏
Cheers for this lad, getting ready for my s2 mk3 coming in a few days :)
That’ll keep you busy for years. Congrats! 🎉
Hello, I watched your video and I'm still having trouble getting quality sound on Zoom. It sounds super crunchy. I'm using my DDJ SB3 and I just learned about OBS so that's what my Zoom mtg/party will show. Im pretty new to this so any help would be appreciated, I'd gladly pay you for your assistance if you can help me out? I'm using Zoom 5.7.0 -- Serato Virtual Audio -- Serato 2.5.5 -- thank you for your time!
Something happened with the Zoom software. These aren't the same account settings in my profile.
My video has become obsolete!
Hey I need help please help
This is the ONLY way I got Zoom to pic up my controller. Then all I had to do was turn on “Original Sound”, click off all the default Auto settings that Zoom does and then “share” my audio in the room via advanced Share settings. Once I did this, everything came through loud and clear and everyone was happy. “IShowU” did not work. Only my interface setup worked.
Right on!
Is it picking up sound from your dj board/Serato OR from your MIC?
The interface is picking up sound from the controller. Does that answer your question?
You have literally made this so clear! Thank you <3
Nice video buddy! keep going
Thanks my dude!
If zoom mic is set to Scarlett 1/2 in fed by DJ controller where is your voice being input? In the DJ controller or from the Scarlett (somehow)? It must be mixed somewhere assuming you speak as well as perform your DJ set.
Great question. In this setup the controller is taking up all inputs on the Scarlett. So I would have to run my mic through the controller in order for the signal to get to the Scarlett. Another option is to get an interface with more than two inputs. The only experience I have with that is using a standard Mackie mixer. The newer models have a USB port that can connect to your Mac, and it detects the Mackie as an interface!
so ther isn't really a change on sound of on or off, right ?
There is to my ear! Listen to how the high end comes through when Original Sound is turned on.
Thank you for providing such a simple video explaining this. Much appreciated 👌🏾👌🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Thank you, glad it helped!
I use two laptops, one with zoom and the other for virtual dj for my controller so how can would that work with this?
Have your interface connected via USB to your zoom laptop, and then run signal from your controller to the interface via whatever audio cables you need. Hope this helps!
Where can I get this interface from? Thanks
You can get a new Scarlett 2i2 from Amazon. Doesn't have to be Scarlett, just as long as it has two inputs for your Left and Right channel.
Thanks buddy... i appreciate all your work.. .thank you so much!
Glad it helps!
Hi. Was just wondering if I need to buy an audio interface if I already have a Yamaha mixer. I have a Pioneer DDJ SX3.
If the mixer has a USB port, it’s likely that it would be recognized as an audio device on your computer. I know that I can do this with my Mackie ProFX8
Yes....you can use your Yamaha Mixer as the audio interface because of the USB connector. That’s how I run my sound for Twitch as well.
Hey Kaellum, thanks for the idea. I am currently broadcasting the first 40 minutes of my Monday evening practice sessions on Zoom so people will have a fun way to congregate online. The best way I have found to broadcast is to set my Blue Snowball USB mic next to a JBL speaker. I tried sending my VSM 4.1 controller directly through USB and Zoom sees it as a microphone, but no sound goes through. So I am interested in trying your idea. However, would like to hear what is sounds like before dropping $160 into a 2i2. I'll hit you up for a lesson through your website. Thanks! - DJ Chester Chomp AnchorageDJs.com
Hey Chester, on vacation at the moment. You’ll hear from me after the weekend.
Thank you. I'm using focusrite and got everything working for the most part with the exception of being able to hear audio from ZOOM back into my headphones. I have the focusrite selected for speaker, but still no signal. I would need this option because I'm doing conferences as well as jams. Any guidance would be appreciated.
to do this i recommend you voicemeeter. In voice meeter you cand hear in your speaker what the participants are saying.
@@manuelfalquez4446 thank you!!
Does the interface resolve the issue of a controller like the pioneer ddj sb3 not having an output signal and therefore isn't visible as a microphone option on zoom? Friends of mine with controllers that do have an output signal easily connect to zoom and can sent their controller as a microphone.
When I select my controller as the mic input in Zoom, no signal comes out of my headphone cue channel. This is an issue that many other people have reported. What are your friends doing differently? I'm not sure how to answer your first question, since it looks like the DDJ SB3 has an RCA Master out.
Kællum McQueen One friend has a ddj sx2. Since it has two outputs, one goes to a speaker and the other to the computer. This allows you to hear the music through your speaker live. The microphone can still be used to talk on zoom. You can set up a second computer or phone on zoom to hear what everyone is hearing to check the levels and make sure you're not clipping. You can still listen in to guests with headphones. The ddj sb3 only send a signal to a master out and that's why i think it doesn't show as a mic. I was hoping there would be a solution to this. Not sure if there is an rca to USB wire available or if this would work. I haven't tried it. I was thinking a virtual interface could resolve this but I'm not too savy to know how all this works. I haven't found anything online with a solution specifically with the sb3 controller.
Thank you for the flow chart, seriously a life saver
Kallum why do you need the Audio interface at all, cant you just set your System Preferences Sound to your controller sound card and the same on Zooms Mic dropdown as well? What are the pros/cons of adding the interface in between?
Hey Greg, thanks for reaching out! I just tried what you suggested, and set my input and output in System Preferences to my Traktor sound card. Selected Traktor as microphone in Zoom. No luck. I really wish it was that easy! If you find a way to bypass using an interface please let me know.
You have best tutorial. No one showed it like you
Have you tired a RCA cable into the line in or mic jack of the pc
In my case, this is for a Mac and has only an 1/8" output for headphones, no mic input.
You will need an RCA to 1/4” cable. Something like this from B&H Audio. www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/828244-REG/Hosa_Technology_HPR_003X2_HPR_003X2_Dual_1_4_TS.html
Very clear instructions. I struggled trying to make it work without an audio interface. A USB audio interface makes everything clean and simple.
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! couldn't turn it off!
