@@AdrianandAdie yes back then ..Oriana and Aurora where designed for P&O specifically…there is a great video “Dream to reality” shows the process…so much was thought about care and detail, it will never happen again..now they just adapt ships to suit the market it’s for. We went on Aurora 2000 to see her pre launch…for a day visit ..

@@jacquelinearcher1158 Thanks, we will give that a watch. We went on Oriana twice in our early days of cruising, and she was our favourite ship before being sold off. The ships are getting bigger and serving a growing market now with a different passenger demographic. We went on Arvia last year, and whilst we enjoyed ourselves, we would not rush back. There was some rowdy behaviour, uncontrolled kids around, and the pool areas were a mini Benidorm at sea being under constant occupation by drinking families. The only saving grace was plenty of dining options and places to hide away from the masses, so we eat speciality every evening and stayed well clear of the pub and casino.
