We go chain or just standard conversions? I've already practiced a little with the bow, and can hit some long ass shots.

I actually play on PC, I just use an Xbox controller due to me being more comfortable with it.

Despite the fact Hunt is filled with problem children, some of us are honestly trying to make the community enjoyable. Somebody playing below their skill, because they don't yet know stuff, doesn't make the game more enjoyable for everyone. Stay safe out there, and hopefully a bunch of people can learn from this.

@@StaticFrictionGaming Big respect for that bro. Also, I ended up buying a 7.1 headset it actually helps a bit more. Been practicing with an explosive crossbow and dual conversion with FMJ lately. I posted a video of me training to be accurate with the explosive crossbow... I found a cool way to get super accurate even from 150m away and maaan that thing is just awesome (frag bow as well, which I found goes way further up to 250m)

Okay, so a few things to start with. First you're running a headset right? Hopefully with 5.1 surround? I can kind of show some of this, but it's hard to show audio stuff.... I will do my best in the next vid or 2. AS for the people on youtube seeing stuff in bushes.... Thats likely the monitor they have and hardware in general. I'm playing with an Xbox controller, but I'm on steam with a 32 inch monitor and my laptop ( I know.....) is capable of running really high graphics at a good frame rate. That being said, I get dropped in bushes all the time, it does happen, but unless it's intetresting, I rarely put those up. I play enough that if I streamed everything or tried posting every match, I'd fill my 14 TB harddrive every couple weeks.

@@StaticFrictionGaming I am using a headset, not sure if it's 5.1 surround tho. I play on my 15 inch Legion 5 laptop that can run 165hz (but I average about 95-100 fps when I play). However, I am considering a monitor (probably curved with 200hz). One thing I notice in-game is, I can kinda track footsteps by listening to which ear it's the loudest so when I face that direction and I can hear from both ears equally, it means the footsteps are directly in front... and that their distance is based on how loud the footsteps are. Is that how you track people as well? What throws me off with UA-camrs is when I can hear footsteps (in their video) that sound very close but they aim at a different direction... then the enemy shows up exactly where they were aiming at and not where I heard the steps coming from on my headset. I'm guessing this is because they know the map really well or something 🤷 Guess I'll figure it out with time

I would suggest looking into your current headset. Most gaming headsets are 5.1 but you can always find cheap ones where ever you are buying electronics. As for the monitor, absolutely get yourself a stand alone. I have a 17 inch laptop, and use a 32 inch stand alone. Curved is really up to you, but I never found them to be my style. The extra price point is rarely worth it. I do this on the cheap, except the headphones which weren't nearly as expensive when I bought them as they are now. I know you can get 5.1 headsets for 20 bux. Ive bought them. As for hearing close footsteps and looking in another direction, if you're playing solo, it is curious. I often try to take care of the biggest threat first, and the times I don't think the closest is the biggest threat, is when long ammo has made itself known from the tree line. Map knowledge ( and this new map I'm still learning) is a huge aspect. If someone is right on the other side of a wall, but has no direct path towards you, the faint footsteps by the door are the bigger threat. It might be worth checking your volume on your headset too... I don't like mine blasting, but basically to a point where I can hear everything, super close range, unexpected shots might make me flinch a little, but too loud will actually hurt you in the long run... As for knowing how to track people with sound, I'll go over that in the next vid, (likely Friday the 30th or a day before) but practicing on AI is a good way to tune your ears. As you're running through the level, just kind of point towards the AI that just got alerted (Grunts, Hives or whatever) and once you get that and you're doing it consistently, Close your eyes (not in a fight) when something gets alerted, and point towards it, then open your eyes... see how close you are.... If you're just rocking stereo, up and down is going to be harder, but the sounds of water, dirt, metal and wood should help you once you learn the level.

Maybe they will hit the comments section? Otherwise your Hunt name isn't the same.... So they won't know it's you unless we happen to find them in a game, realize it's them, and you you start taunting them, which you aren't really known for.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I'm honestly just having fun out there. I play on an Xbox controller, I'm certainly not top tier. As for the "not a fun player" I guess I don't understand that. I did end up hunkering down against you, but aggression and defending are both part of my gameplay. Maybe there is something you want to see in the future if I can do. I do love a challenge. Either way, I never take things personally in video games, and I hope nobody takes me seriously in them either. We should all be out there to do what we enjoy.

I try to teach people new tricks from time to time. Think outside the box a little, and every crack is useful.

Yeah, I'm so used to the Xbox controller I only play with it. I know going against the PC players I'm at a disadvantage, but I'm also realistic that I'll likely never be super high level, so enjoy the game.

With the Avto or fanning/levering, every crack gives you information for a spray.

That's the GF. We literally did the edit and commentary in the hotel room together, thus the acoustics are different than my home setup.

I'm actually thinking about remaking my team, or release the whole first season in 1 shot, as talking through while making the video was a bit sketchy near the end (I one shotted the whole first season of the game, and my voice kind of gave out after 4 hours). I could throw that whole first season up as a raw video, but I want to do the second season justice with giving myself some rest between recording more than 2 games at a time

I haven't really figured out how to make good helldivers videos yet. Everything I see is people fragging friends and such, kind of an uninspired concept. Maybe tips on the game, but it seems like everyone already has that, and likely does it better

I can teach you to play in my bracket. Just a little bit of anti-work and kind of enjoying yourself in the game. Doing things for the fun of it, not for the stats. Grab a legendary hunter when playing solo, remove all weapons. Medkit, melee tool, and 1 pistol. Max budget of 50 bux for your gun. Go into trios, and repeat for about 5 matches.... Always towards the fight.... You'll be in 3 star soon, and if you get out with 1 bounty, no matter how you get it, you make money if it takes less than 5 times.

I was hoping to get more striking kills with it, and less silent shotgun kills. However a lot of this game is to work with what you have, your skills, and the situation. All 3 of those things dictate moves you make.

Little advice son, Get bad, pro.... Like :"get good, noob", but opposite. I was probably in 3 star when that happened. Been holding between 3 and 4 star. I also was moving damn slow and I died a lot. The whole point of my derringer runs are to kill someone, and take all their weapons (I often run quartermaster with no weapons) so when they get back up they are absolutely screwed. They weren't getting back up, so kind of failed on that note.

I guess I didn't know that. I would prefer bleed ammo, and the penetration is the only reason I don't use it in the Nitro (on the rare occasions I bring a nitro.

The speed in which you go through the trail does get you there faster, but I think it only affects your parties health, stamina and mood. I do not think it does additional damage to the wagon. I could be wrong on that, but have never noticed it myself.

I feel like every run is 1 decision from utter chaos.

It is basically corpse inception. You never know how deep it goes till you burn down to the depths.
