Hey Niko, I admire your effort into making this mix. I'm unfamiliar with your work, as this video was recommended to me and I listened to the entire video within a span of two days. As much as I enjoyed your effort and presentation with this mix, it's unfortunately a mix bag for me. I do enjoy a few of the songs from the two Vulture albums and a couple songs that I listen to other people's edits than the original song. However, I tried my best not to compare you to other people's edit instead of the original. I had the video downloaded and didn't look at tracklist beforehand and one thing that struck me was how many songs i was able to listen to within the first 12 minutes. This trend didn't keep up and I believe the entire compilation as a whole felt awkward as it felt like some songs were treated differently. Some parts of some songs have the lyrics crunched together, I assume it's so that the listener could get all the content more quickly than the original. However, it doesn't hit the same, at least to me, as it doesn't leave any breathing room and the flow weren't designed to be one bar so soon after the other. While there's definitely preferences over beat selection and while I won't be nitpicking about that, I feel as though some of the songs' instrumental doesn't bode well with the song's "vibe." I see this same comment across other people's edits especially with the song; "F** Sumn." So, it may be a first listen bias, but then again, it's a popular opinion to not be a fan from these albums especially from the second one. I enjoyed the fresh take on these tracks. It was a great experience to endure through and through, so please don't take anything I say harshly. I encourage you to expand your craft and thank you for putting this out for us to listen you! I hope you do well in your future endeavors!
