"It's Over" - Roy Orbison
Found another old music track of a Shelter parody I did of the Roy Orbison song, "It's Over", and tried a normal version. The notes are so high, I had to try to scream in tune and splice many vocal snippets together.

Your Song - Elton John

Found the music track for the Shelter parody video I did of Elton John's, "Your Song" - so tried to do a version with "normal" lyrics. Hard for me to sing without mimicking Elton's voice.😄

Did a simple, quick version of Roy Orbison's "Crying" - screeched through the high notes though, and I had already lowered the key a little.

With all this crazy, stormy weather we've been having, an idea popped into my head for a parody song, so I ran with it. Used a Snapchat filter to change and improve my facial features 😊.

Well Done Finさん👍. I should do this cover too
Nice job, at least six audio track 👍
@@sofarsogut - thank you. Yes, several overdubs.
@@finchaser2683 👍
Wonderful performance , voice following that beautiful Bossanova chord progression 👍
Thank you!
This is outstanding. Thanks.
Thank you!
Love your voice!!

Thank you!
Great cover! Really enjoyed it
Thank you, @xavi12R!
Beautiful! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks, @kaduvivaguitar!
Nice, you used a key that fits your voice well 👍
Yea : "quick and rough" but very nice (NOT easy for me)
Thank you, @sofarsogut!
The first years I listened to Elvis I didn't understand English so listening this I'd have believed it was the original lyrics. You have a great voice and your Elvis imitation is great 👍 ! PS : I might have had Covid too coz a couple of times I had runny nose
Thanks, Pierre! Yeah, luckily my Covid was just like a regular flu - first two days was really tired though, slept a lot! Glad Covid has become less deadly.
How long is your leader? and what were you using?
18" to 2'. Mostly powerbait and sometimes power egg with power worm (basically, a mice tail). Been pretty slow overall for me though, so far this year - have to be patient.
Good way to start off the new year. Nice fish.
Thanks, YourNextCast! Yeah, after sucking so much the last of 2021, was nice to catch something.
How’s life?-my dear! best editing~)
Thanks!
Looks like they were waiting.
You mean fish or DFG? :)
No more trout chasing?
Only been to Quarry once so far this season - hooked a nice one that got off. I think with lower water levels, the bite is slower. Maybe I'll wait as they stock it more.
Excellent!
Thank you, Byron!
when you going fishing
Since weather has gotten warmer, kind of given up on trout 'til it gets cooler. Will probably plug bay for halibut & stripers. Got a few undersize halibut, but nothing legal yet.
@@finchaser2683 you should go for catfish at quarry or carp soon
@@marcocorona7443 - I won’t hit Quarry til next trout season. Not big on catfish or carp.
Let that ride for way too long. Tighten the drag after a min, get your net ready and reel that sucker in. I woulda been pissed at myself
Had 2-4# test, so couldn't clamp down drag too hard. Think it was probably a big carp - seen some rolling after that.
Feel the frustration not knowing what it is.
More videos pls
Good job
Thanks. Lol!
DAMN that hurt me..... "THE 1 THAT GOT AWAY" So sorry man
Thanks, Larry. It sucks, but it happens.
Damn! Those are the ones that haunt you!
Yeah! Just wanted to see what it was!
@@finchaser2683 I know!!! Whatever it was, it hit hard!
@@michaelwahlander2076 - my fishing buddies thought maybe a big carp. I'm sure there are some big ones in there. I know they plant some big trout in there, too.
What time does the bite usually get hot?
Usually early morning is best for me, just when there starts to be a little grey light, up to about 7:30/8am. Sometimes, bite will be late though - it's hard to say - but I like early morning best.
Always killing it
Thanks, Larry!
Nice!
Thanks, Michael!
Nice. That big was about 3-4 pounds?
I had this tiny "De-Liar" scale, and it weighed 5 1/2 lbs on it - not that accurate tho. It was 22" long and pretty fat!
Did they stock?
I looked at the front kiosk as I walked in, and said they hadn't stocked since Feb 23. But the way the bite started early, I thought maybe they stocked since then - but then after first few fish, bite just died. So, not sure.
Hot spot!
Wish I could go in the middle of the week. Seems to be a lot less people there. Nice early limit pickup.
Thanks. Yeah, lots of shoreline to explore. I've tried different spots all round with varied to no success.
@@finchaser2683 Well I dare say you have that spot figured out. I would think it would be deeper then 20ft out where you are casting, being a quarry.
@@larrytransam6629 Go for it! Might be deeper, just my guestimate.
@@finchaser2683 Don't get me wrong, I'm interested in your guestimate. It's kind of a bummer that Quarry lakes is one of the few places that has limited information on water depth. Next time I run into a boat out there with a depth finder I will ask.
@@larrytransam6629 - I remember one time I fished on the rounded point in front of the boat launch (I think you can't fish there anymore?), and it was pretty deep.
Always killing it. Lol. What part of the lake do you fish
Usually somewhere towards the back of the lake.
@@finchaser2683 Thank you. Quarry doesn't seem that big until you walk towards the back. Good size lake.
What # test is your main line? And what # test is your leader line?
Larry, my mainline either 4# or 6#, leader is 4#. I think I actually have 2# test mainline on one of my reels.
That's very impressive. That's a lot of weight to be throwing out with such lite line. You must have a soft touch. I would be snapping off that weight right and left. Hoe deep do you think it is to where you are casting out to?
@@larrytransam6629 - I'm only using 3/4oz weight though. I would guess 15 - 20ft deep.
Taken my daughter there 3 time and had no luck. What side of Horseshoe are you fishing on?
Towards the back.
which part of the lake? end of row?
No, towards the back.
@@finchaser2683 Where is the back of the lake? Only fished row before.
@@xubin5690 - just walk toward the back of the lake and explore, there is a lot of shoreline to fish. I've also had luck fishing parts of the peninsula, but haven't fished there for a while. Maybe I'll try again.
What did you use
Mostly powerbait, sometimes power egg and worms together.
good stuff
Thanks, Hunter!
Good job
Thanks, Jeofrey.
I caught my first ever rainbow trout and I gotta try that bobber technique. I didn't even notice the rod moving but managed to pull up the 4 pounder
4 lber's a nice one! I use the bobber as a bite indicator, so I can see bites and fish won't feel to much tension on line.
I hope you see you there one day. I could learn alot from you.
Thanks, Jeofrey. Don't think I know that much, just get lucky sometimes.
Congrats on the limits! It was a slow day for most people today.
Thanks, Chris! Yeah, I got lucky. I wanted to release a couple of them, 'cause they were so small - but they were gut-hooked. Just as well, felt like it was going to be a slow day anyway. Happy to just have some fun reeling them in!
Nice to meet you. No worries. So was the first fish actually on my mom's line? I guess it was her fault for not paying attention.
No. Earlier, I was checking my line and it tangled hers - I thought it was just a broken off line, so I pulled it in and cut it. Somehow, I didn't think it was my neighbor's active line - my bad. Shortly after I caught the fish. I think I probably did cut off the hook, but didn't really pay attention. I had caught another stray leader earlier, probably why I didn't think it was attached.
@@finchaser2683 haha ok, then why isn’t it in the video? ;)
@@chriseling - haha, didn't make the cut.
Teach me plz lol
I think the most important thing is light leader, 4# test max, or you could use fluorocarbon leader (I don’t). Trout are finicky and line-shy.
@@finchaser2683 I went to quarry lakes today and caught 3 small 2 pound Mt. Lassen.. thank you for your small tips.
@@BluBlox1 - that's awesome! No problem.
when is this? wonder whether go weekend
This morning. It’s been slow though.
What size hook do you use and is it a trebble hook?
I use small kahle hooks, #14 or #16, not trebles.
@@finchaser2683 also I was wondering what power bait color or scent is do you used because your method really work in your videos . Thank you I’m learning how to fish btw.
@@BluBlox1 - I like rainbow or chartreuse. Also like the Berkley trout attractant. Good luck!
@@finchaser2683 For the Berkley trout attractant. Is it the power bait trout attractant or the power bait trout dip?
@@BluBlox1 - I use the power bait attractant. but I would think either would work, as they would both leave a scent trail.
Lol! Thanks, Pierre.
Fantastic
Thank you, Pierre!
Glad the little on was released
I'm sure Sting would also appreciate !
