Isn't Paradise the town that burned to the ground recently? What are your clients telling you homeowners insurance is costing them?

Everything that moves is taxed. Don't even think about it.

Well, I still have my property on Foster, but if you told me that at some point you could buy property in Calif for around $40k/acre I would have said you were nuts. But here it is. I was just there yesterday and there are still areas that are barren with the exception of undergrowth beginning to overtake properties. It is once again possible for a large scale fire, but not on the level of the Camp Fire.

Lots new homes for the senior community I seen 40-60k brand new 2 bed 1 bath lots of 2 bed 2 bath or 1 bed room for 55+ for 40-60k and the homes are 2018-2024

Manufacturing home is such a awesome choice we don’t have to retire there we can get it for now and pay it off as fast as u can I’m going buy my cash and save up more for few years yes I have a lot rent in Arizona 700-800 is very average but even a 1500 studi0 apartment the cost in east valley is 1500 my lot rent is half and I get a beautiful home w lots space etc and I’m ok w that my home is paid so sooner or later when I buy stick home I’m siting in my deposit is how I look at it even if we wanted the land it’s very rare to find but it’s over 300-350k for that price I kind as well buy a home so I thought about the lot rent I’d spend in 7-8 years it’s still lot less then buying the home w the land cause for 400-450k I can get something even older home 1400 sw feet so I think the manufacturer home fits me now w the 700-800 lot rent

Chico was a nice place....50 years ago. Commiefornia is being dragged to the ground by liberal ideologies. If you fit that bill, Chico is your town.

My concern would be finding home owners insurance companies that would even want to insure a homeowner there or how extremely expensive it would be.

In 2006 the ex and I looked through the area. It's a beautiful part of the Siera range. Lots of healthy air there.

We bought our Fleetwood manufactured home last year. We are exceedingly happy with it. It’s about 1/2 the cost of a comparable 5br, 3 bath stick built. Highly recommended

I grew up in Amber Grove. My parents custom ordered the finishes, but most homes are very similar with the exception of built-in furniture. The values really do show that the neighborhood is very desirable. I think the build quality of Webb homes are one of the best features. When it rains, it's hard to even hear it unless you are under the skylight!

I feel like we are missing something very important, i just dont know what. Like, Whats the Vs for a manufactured home Vs an apartment? Especially when apartments are 1500+ and rent for a MH is 300/500 a month at worse? Is it just the deprecation, stigma and lot prices? Whats the catch?

I had the good fortune to visit Paradise in 2002 and found it to be a beautiful and charming town. After the tragedy of 2018 and the enormous recovery efforts, your assessment and advice to new arrivals seems to me very fair and balanced. Wishing you and the town of Paradise much success in the future as rebuilding continues.

The only thing worse than losing your home in the fire was NOT losing your home in the fire. 😂. Being stuck there with a home you can't live in, instead of getting 500,000 dollar check. That sucked.😂

Actually, Im looking to do murals in chico. Right now, I have something at the skate park and Onec & Done Motorsports. I am always looking for a new place to paint and display what I can do.
