Hey! My name is Jason Lamb; Foster/adoptive/bio dad, husband, Real Estate agent and investor, mountain biker, dirtbike rider, trail builder, guitar playing, BBQ eating regular guy! I started this channel to learn to edit video in Premier pro as a hobby/project to do with my oldest son, and to document a little bit of our riding as a family and personally.
I plan to start another channel featuring real estate investing tips, general real estate info, financial tips, parenting and child development ideas, and some thoughts and commentary on things I enjoy (finance, marketing, philosophy and psychology and fitness). I'll drop a link to that channel when it's up.

Might just be the best minute and a half at Hawes. Raw audio, music was just playing on my phone in my pocket 😂. Great way to get the blood going at 5:45 in the morning.
Trying to catch my kids down Mine Trail

I give them 10- 30 seconds depending on the trail, then chase them down. Mine trail is a favorite, it's a fun descent without too much work to get to, so we ride it early summer mornings when it's hot. This was at about 6am.

Boulderdash will be the second double black diamond in the Hawes trail system, just outside of Mesa, AZ. Lots of slabs, lots of drops!
Gold Ridge Trail #47 top to bottom with the fellas!

First time on Gold Ridge Trail. Rode it as a shuttle. 6.8 miles, 2900 foot descent. Mostly flowy, but a few sections that are really steep and loose with some chunk and tight corners. Good times!
That Time I Almost Killed Drew

Was supposed to be an easy ride. After an hour or two of play riding, we decide to ride a couple of harder sections. I had a good fall and after that started riding like crap. At one point I almost killed Drew!

Quick Ride...Trashed my ankle about 5 weeks ago. Grade 3 sprain. Back on the moto, trying to flake the rust off and see how much fitness and conditioning I lost. Riding each loop for time and comparing heart rate data and zones against past efforts on the same loop. Husky TX 300, riding outside of Mesa, AZ. Good to be back on the bike!!

Catch them while you can!! I had a blast on that trail. Though my legs were cramping after Sunset Ridge. Honestly wasn’t sure I’d be able to ride anymore if you didn’t shuttle me. Thanks again! Come up here and get out of the heat! 😂

@@GoFastDontCrash Where's the bikesmith enduro schedule? I missed that series. We've got YES! kids racinging bootleg, youth enduro series, MBAA enduro...always on the lookout for other races we can hit that aren't too far.

Music suks
Anyone know of a trail map for this area? Also google maps shows its closed permanently, but the forest service website shows closed seasonally? Any locals have an update on status?
I grew up in the area, but don't live there anymore, just go back for a few weeks each summer and bring the bikes. I have local contacts there though. Do you live in the area? I can try and get you in touch with the local riding scene.
@@JLambinator No, i love Montana though. I am planning out a long dual sport trip that brings me close enough to that area that it might be worth a days detour.
Do you know where i can find an OHV trail map for the area? Also, google maps says closed permanently but the montana forest page juat says closed for the season? Cannot find any info on the closed permanently bit.

Some fast sections! The terrain kinda looks likes Mingus Mtn.
There were a number of sections that felt like 355 on Mingus! This trail had some sections that were far steeper than anything on Mingus though. Speaking of which.... it's about time I do a Mingus trip.

Twisted Sister. Top of the climb that comes right after Big Rock wash, on your left. It's closed till next week though, as we have the tractor doing finish work on it.

All of these newer trails look like a blast. Totally different than the Hawes I’m used to seeing which is like just ride whatever mother nature gave you. Not used to seeing anything this flowy!
