First reason why you're wrong. Batman character is *supposed* to be brooding and depressed. His parents were murdered which is the catalyst of him becoming Batman in the first place. Second reason why you're wrong; I suspect you want a gay or possibly effeminate Batman. Batman wasn't created to be a homosexual. Last what you fail to realize is that we have both the adventurous and brooding Batman which again you want to take away the brooding part. It makes absolutely no sense because again it's essential to his character.
