Safe Place for Youth (SPY) was founded in 2011 by a group of dedicated
volunteers and Executive Director Alison Hurst.
Today, SPY is the leading service provider for youth experiencing or at-risk of homelessness on the Westside of Los Angeles, offering 10 core program components aimed at meeting the unique needs of young people between the ages of 12-25. This year, over 1,500 individuals received life saving support across SPY's continuum of care.

Our 2nd Annual 5K (and first-ever in person!) was a huge success. Together, we raised vital funds to help sustain life-saving services for youth experiencing or at-risk of homelessness in West LA. Thank you to each of the 300 participants for showing up and helping us give visibility to the young people who have been overlooked. See you in 2023!
