He is right! A few years ago, I had to hire a caregiver to live with my mother before aultimatly moving her to Assisted Living, and it was not cheap. I've thought about converting one of my rental properties over to an assisted living home. If i ever did that, I wouldn't want to run the home, but only property manage.

Can you provide more information on how you bought properties in your children's names? I want to buy something in my sons name but no sure how I want to attack it yet. Thanks!
