I went to the site about three weeks ago and was shocked that it is now difficult to see any reference points to the old station. It is sad that this was a WW2 airfield and nothing remains to remind us of that. Similarly nothing for all those recruits who passed through Swinderby to remind them of their time. There should at least be some form of memorial stone.

also isn't it better to just unscrew the bleeder screw so air can escape, if you unscrew it and remove it completely, that creates bigger hole for water to spill more, i think it would be cleaner to just unscrew bleeder screw two, three turns just enough so air starts escaping and youll see bubbles anyways

Thank you for the video, I learn a lot by watching these videos as I do not have the skills of a mechanic. Just a quick question for you: I have a 2009 Kia Rio2, when I go to move the car after lowering the handbrake, it will not move so I have to pull up on the handbrake and lower again and it finally moves but there is a loud clunk. This started happening 18 months ago and was fixed by Halfords and they said it needed to be greased. Now it is happening again, has anyone else have this problem and is it going to be a continuing problem? Is this an easy fix or do I have to keep sending it back to Halfords? Many thanks Jon

Excellent, detailed video, Thank you. Just done mine on a Corsa 1.2 with the 1.2 XER engine, which is identical. The top guide, and non tensioner guide were in pieces as in video. Car had thrown up a P0017 fault code, and engine was rattlinng badly for the first few seconds then ran well. Fiddly job but do able, greatly helped by watching this video.

I give up with aligning the door! Lost my sh*T and got a pry bar under the drum whilst lifting the door. Then smacked the little dent out the drum from the inside. Only thing I could do!

was the oil light on the whole time?
