It use to start from the CN Rivers subdivision and now it starts on CP carberry subdivision

this was my childhood, it was my favorite trainset i had as a kid! whenever railgrade came out it reminded me so much of geotrax. btw if you wanna know railgrade is game where you build trains and run the economy on a future colony on a different planet, so a tycoon game using miniture futuristic trains, they had steam, diesel, and i think electric trains, its a pretty cool game ^^

No , you don't have to go through Symington yard if you stay on the main line to Transcona and east to Toronto. If you want to go to Thunderbay then you go through Symington.

This was cool. My mom was born here, I visited once but I was pretty young. My grandma had lots of stories about life there in the 50s.

Geotrax deserves a comeback, now with Thomas currently out of commission, for fans that one isn’t just a problem if they’re Thomas fans too since I’m a fan of both train shows myself as well, it’s also an opportunity.

Canada is a huge country and that requires a huge hump yard, there may be less people but the distances are vast......😮

I'm one of the movers for this house and this video is awesome! I'm the front pilot truck guy watching the house come around every turn and I knew it's a big house but when you see it from this angle it's a different perspective you don't realize how big it really is! Great video love it so much!

My grandmother lived her life there. She lived at the edge of town, just caught by your drone. She had an older house that was torn down after building a new one next to it. She used to have a beautiful garden in the back. It looks like the new owner has turned it into old car storage. My brother and I would visit as kids in the 80s and 90s. We were part of the Mossey River reuinion. I remember Alice and her husband next door and a nice family who lived diagonally from us. There were other nice families too. I miss the general store and playing bingo in the hall. All the grandmas would share what they grew with each other. It was a quaint place to raise a family.

The model railway Club opens every Monday, 7-9pm.

Portage la Prairie IS the only location in Canada where the two mainlines cross AT GRADE. They cross again east of Winnipeg but by an overpass.
