I could not handle ozempic . I’m a type two diabetic. I Stayed on the lowest one it didn’t lower my blood sugar nor did it help with weight loss. I was on it for like two months. I was just sick all the time I had like really really bad pains in my stomach constantly like somebody was taking a knife and like stabbing me in my stomach, so I decided to go off of it.
When I feel squeamish and don't want to eat anything, I can usually eat a Popsicle, it feels refreshing somehow.
Yeah before you start taking it check out the price it's $1,000 a month they got to be kidding
NOPE .NOT TAKING IT .I GAVE ENOUGH MED PROBLEMS 😢😢😢
How can i incorporate rybelsus with thyronorm?
I find that if you eat less it helps a lot and try avoiding anything fry
Fasting fixes all that
Thank you DR. Today my labs shoe my A1C at 7.7. I take Metformin and glipizide. My Dr decided to also put me on Jardiance, after seen this video I am really exited to start. How do you recommend to take this medications, all together , morning? Thank you.....
I almost died!!! On 10/11/24 at about 4am I went via ambulance to Medical Emergency Services was immediately admitted to ICU. I am a type 2 diabetic who had diabetic keto acidosis! (And this is important because we are NOT SUPPOSED to get that!! But that is what the ER diagnosis was) But it was atypical, my sugars had been relatively low (I had finally woken up with a 108 BS according to my CGM! Yay! No dawn phenomenon!!! So later on I learned that what I had was more accurately called "Euglycemic Diabetic Ketoacidosis"). I was ON the keto/ketovour diet and was doing pretty good, but I was ALSO ON JARDIANCE (SGLT2)!!! That combination almost killed me!! I was feeling sick for a few days, and had thrown up a few nights ago. I thought I just had the “keto flu” you hear about, and so I just tried to push through it and ugh, boy did I feel yucky! Things finally came to a head when at about 3:30am in the morning as I was “trying” to sleep I started hyperventilating! It was as if I had tried to run a marathon at a sprinting speed, my lungs wanted to explode. My whole body was hurting and spasming. I was dizzy, too wobbly to walk or get out of bed. I also threw up then and it was BLACK... I remember thinking “Hmmm.. I don't recall eating anything BLACK! What the heck is THAT!?” I finally admitted I needed to go to the hospital because I was in so much PAIN. I also figured that the black vomit was not good, so yes please! Take me to the hospital! I can have my husband (a doctor) help me decipher the medical records, but my “health” markers were WAYYYYYYYY OFF! One important “buffer” needed for life was unreadable according to their machines, meaning I had NO more “buffer”. My blood acidity level was also up off the charts. So anyway first thing they did was try to ask me questions, kinda hard as I was going in and out of consciousness. I remember vaguely the ride to the hospital, being rolled out of the ambulance into a metal room (or maybe just metal doors, I don't know?”) being lifted/transferred to the hospital stretcher, then rolled into another room, then a team of about 8-10 ER staff all surrounding me. The questions were “what was that from” (from me groaning in pain) “where does it hurt” (everywhere) “can you be more specific” (ok I'll try... my back, my stomach, my legs, my feet...) “do you have pain in your chest?” (yes, but its my lungs, my lungs hurt). I guess they were trying to figure out if I was having a heart attack before they did anything else. After a few more groans in pain they said “Lets get her some morphine” and I immediately got some relief. But I was still breathing REALLY HARD, that didn't slow down until much later on. The rest of my time that next 24 hrs is kinda a blur. I was trying to sleep, but they were waking me up trying to prick my finger to see what my blood sugars were doing every hour, and they were drawing blood for labs (SO MANY LABS), and they were waking me up to see if I could do any physical therapy, and I had to ask them to please UNTIE ME from the IV's from both elbow pits & from the compression leg thingies keeping both legs down to help me get to the toilet so I could pee. I wasn't allowed to eat or drink for 24 hrs. They didn't even want me sipping on water (only allowed to chew/swallow ice chips), because THEY were giving me water via IV and they needed to know exactly how much water went into me, and then as I was peeing into this container they were measuring how much fluid was coming out of me as well. Ugh. I'm just tired again just writing/reading this all. Ok, next phase. Next day I am transferred to the regular hospital floor. They are now giving me insulin shots. But I am SO dismayed because I did not WANT insulin shots! The diabetic educator was trying to convince me I needed insulin shot prescription. I started to shut down and not share or communicate with her anymore. I was being a pain-in-the-butt because I kept insisting I did NOT want insulin shots! We were at an impasse. They were looking at me like I'm crazy. And I was just having SUCH a hard time. I do over react to stress and that can make my BS go UP like 100 points. Shots/pokes/jabs drive me crazy! I have a complete meltdown internally, meanwhile outside I'm trying to hide that. My poor sons inherited this from me. When they get labs drawn or get a shot they faint! They are fully grown men and they are fainting! One time I was trying to show my younger son how my glucose monitor worked so I pricked one of his fingers.... AND HE FAINTS! So ya, they inherited that from somewhere, and that somewhere was ME! Now I'm getting “poked” more than a hundred times a day it seems! And they have me on insulin, for the first time in my 10 years with diabetes I'm on insulin. But to tell the truth the insulin DID SAVE MY LIFE!!! AND THE GLUCOSE ALSO SAVED MY LIFE!!! How confusing is that?!? Ya! It's confusing! Anyway, I'm having a hard time because what I WANTED TO DO (do Keto, no insulin!) was not what THEY wanted me to do. I am battling the medical establishment.... AND MY HUSBAND THE DOCTOR TOO. So now it's the next day and I will be discharged from the hospital. We have a meeting with my ER doc. And he had consulted with some other hospitalists & endocrinologists. They very clearly decided that my problem was NOT the keto diet! My problem was the JARDIANCE ON the Keto diet! They released me saying “No insulin, NO JARDIANCE, no Metformin, you can do Keto” End of story!! YAY!! So now instead of spending more than $800 a month on diabetes prescriptions (no more Jardiance, no more Invocana, no more Metformin (perhaps the culprit for my black vomit?), and I'm probably going to be non-compliant and most likely WON”T start the Trulicity they want me to take.) I'll instead be spending that money on LOBSTER and eating that with BUTTER, and I'll have a side of RIB EYE to go with that!!! Cartman of South Park was correct!!! “Tell the President to have a little steak with his butter!” But in more seriousness, I love low glycemic veggies, love fish, other healthy proteins, so still incorporating the parts of Mediterranean Diet but I'm going to do it keto style. I just LITERALLY CANT have more than 20g of carbs per day, so the "red wine" sipped while eating "french bread" w cheese & "grapes"...nope! the only thing I can have from that list is the cheese. I hope I survive this new diet! Wish me luck! We will see!! So anyway I'm writing all of this with the hopes to GET THE WORD OUT!! I was looking out the window of my hospital room as we were talking with my doc (and I am wondering how many others like me were out there. Struggling. Hurting), & we were sharing that multiple ER staff persons were saying “we see this all the time” and I'm thinking “Well, that is WAY TOO MUCH then!”. And the ER doc was saying “well, its not all the time, maybe once a month...” and I'm still thinking “THIS IS STILL IS WAY TOO MANY!!” People with type 2 diabetes (or more accurately should be called "insulin resistant") are out there, and some of them are on an SGLT2 and they are getting SICK while they are trying to get healthy! AND they are also getting really SICK AND TIRED of this disease PROGRESSION!!! Do we keep going with this PROGRESSION? Do we lose our sight and go blind? Do we lose our Feet? (I've got horrible neuropathy in my feet! I'm scared!) Our legs? My thumb? (because that is constantly hurting me and is numb. Is my thumb dying and am I going to lose my thumb?) How far and how long are we going to let this disease PROGRESS?!? Can we get off the merry-go-round of... gain more weight->become insulin resistant->have higher blood sugars->take insulin shots->gain more weight-> etc and on and on. No people! NO!!! We are TRYING TO GET HEALTHY! We go to the store, we buy the GOOD stuff, we learn to cook it the right way and say “oh DANG, that is YUMMY!!!” So ya, back to my point, how many type 2 diabetics out there ON JARDIANCE (or other SGLT2's) who want to give this Keto/Carnevour thing a try? Because I tried it 3 times, 2 times I failed MISERABLY.... because I was “SICK” sick & likely about to go into DKA back then too, and I stopped it by giving up & eating CARBS (and thereby continuing on with my disease progression) not by GETTING OFF JARDIANCE!!!!! I have a HUGE question..... HOW MANY PEOPLE WHO HAVE SUFFERED WITH KETO FLU WERE ON JARDIANCE or other SGLT2's? I would seriously LOVE to see a survey done to ask that question! I'm writing here because this IS THE TARGET AUDIENCE!! Please help me get the word out!!! GET OFF JARDIANCE or other SGLT2's if you want to STAY ON KETO/CARNEVOUR!! Medical providers DON'T KNOW! (I've heard recently of 2 cases where dr knew this person was doing serious keto, and prescribed Jardiance anyway). Patients DON'T KNOW! Why would it be dangerous if we are eating HEALTHY?!? So, we STILL need to get the word out!! Thank you for uploading this video! Thank you for reading this! Stay safe! God Bless! Note: I had been on Jardiance for a long time, and I DID lose alot of weight on it, BUT my diabetes was STILL PROGRESSING! Jardiance was NOT CURING MY DIABETES! It was only treating the high blood sugar symptoms. Please look into content from Dr Jason Fung who is helping people REVERSE TYPE II DIABETES.. and also Ben Bikman who is also helping people REVERSE TYPE II DIABETES!!! I'm basically OFF all meds, and I'm working HARD to keep the blood sugars down. OH! and ALLULOSE!! Allulose the sweetener will LOWER MY BLOOD SUGAR (according to my CGM), Ben Bikman did a video on all the sweeteners out there, and allulose is his favorite #1, and it's mine too!!!

switched immediately to low carb virtually no sugar diet and no more side effects.
I was Rx 7mg right away 😒. I took it twice and became extremely sick both times. Did my research and found out I was supposed to start at 3mg, pretty pissed off my MD didn’t Rx it correctly.
How do you feel a small pimples like leision in the glans penis or around the fore skin 🥱 some explanations says that sugar cause's mycotic infestations, then why the same problems in non diabetes written for the purposes of cardiac benefits
Thanks Dr.

Hi doc, im on hypothyroid medication for the last 12 years. Can I take my thyroid med first thing in morning- wait for 30 mins and then take Rybelsus? Plz advice. TIA
1. Start with low dose. Increase dosage slowly. Increase by ½ to 1 tablet every 7-10 days until full prescribed dose. 2. If after slowly increasing dose as described… if still experiencing diarrhoea you may have reached maximum tolerance. 3. Take with food 4. Change metformin formulation. Different brands of Metformin are binded differently. Also, try the ‘long acting’ version of metformin. 5. Gastric issues may be caused by something else other than metformin. Side effects typically occur within a few days of starting metformin or increasing the dose. If unsure, stop taking metformin and see if the diarrhoea stops. If it stops, see if the diarrhoea restarts once you restart taking your metformin. If the diarrhoea continues even after stopping meds it is likely caused by something else. 6. If taking the long acting metformin - do not crush the tablet as it’s the tablet casing that slows release of the active ingredient.
Here's a side effect. You're not mentioning murder suicide
😂
Can i take two 14mg? I used to take 1mg of Ozempic a long time ago. It worked well.
Is Farxiga recommendable for reducing proteinuria in non-diabetic patients with normal GFR?
Yes, I started taking it for that very reason. Very high protein in urine.
Easy to do: just don't take metformin.
The benifits are amazing and far reaching.
Where isthe video on how to avoid nausea ? I took my first pill t9day and threw up twice after that.
I can't deal with 3 mg rhybesuss what shall I do it is very effective in weight loss but cause severe nausea and acute low energy
I can't deal with 3 mg rhybesuss what shall I do it is very effective in weight loss but cause severe nausea and acute low energy
Why? Were you having small meals
Farxiga worked against my health! My vision blurred, I had arthroses pains because this medication dehydrated my arthroses and the dehydration augmented the pressure in my eyes and now I have to prevent glaucoma! It's strange to me that I had all these side effects because I was drinking a lot of water! I made a recherche and found that Farxiga creates major acidity in the body and that is a great problem for arthroses because the body tries to become more alkalic and "steal" from the bones Calcium. And as a result weakens the bones and the muscles..
Acidocètose
@@doodybobodo5531 Thank you for the answer. Hopefully after 10 days that I don't take Farxiga anymore and take Berberine instead the pains almost disappeared. But I need a pill in addition to berberine of 750mg that I take daily and I don't know which to take that has not much side effects because I also tried metformin and caused me gi troubles.. My diabetes doctor proposed me to take insulin shots but I hesitate..
Great Presentation Doctor.. Thank You..
How to calculate 0.75 dosage???
Ive heard it said it is designed to take with exactly 4oz of water, no more or no less.
TLDR: It is important to take Rybelsus as prescribed by your doctor, following specific instructions for optimal absorption and being aware of potential side effects. 00:00 👨⚕ Take Rybelsus as prescribed by your doctor, starting at 3 mg daily and increasing to 7 mg after 30 days, with the option to increase to 14 mg per day after 30 more days, and follow specific instructions for optimal absorption. 00:46 💊 Take Rybelsus on an empty stomach with a small amount of water and wait at least 30 minutes for full absorption. 01:33 💊 Do not crush, chew, or cut the tablet; also, do not expose the pills to moisture as it can affect the medication's action. 02:00 💡 Take each pill out of the packaging only when it's time to consume, and nausea can be a common side effect.
Is sexanda once a week or once a day dosage?
A sip of water for me, the pill will not go down. The directions say 4 oz.
My blood sugar has been higher ,since I was prescribed jardiance
Me too. Do doctors even know what they are really doing?
@@rledellscottie187they think they know
I quit Ozempic because nausea/vomiting never passed, and I was on the lowest dosage.
I just did my first low dose shot on Saturday and we have Monday night and still vomiting! Have to take the day off tomorrow! Unbelievable..how long to be back in normal? I pray just for that
is it normal not to get any side effects?
Leg pain hip pain back pain! Farxiga
Excellent video. Very clear, with sufficient info without overload. I started JARDIANCE 2 weeks ago and the ++urination subsided to normal after just 2 or 3 days but it is a bit crazy at first. 🤞so far so good!
Thank you
Nausea, is horrible.
I started taking Farxiga in Aug. 23 and I was surprised because for the longest time, it appeared to be not causing me any side effects, except for peeing more. However, in the last month, I started having trouble with both of my hips feeling like someone was sticking a knife in them, especially when seated. I also had lower back pain and at first, I didn't even think that it could be the med, but I ask my Dr. about it and he told me to lay off of it for awhile to see if things got better. I've been off it for three days now and my hips and back have already quit hurting. I'm not a diabetic, but he had given it to me because I'm stage 3A CKD and thought it would preserve my kidneys.

Been on Jardiance a week, so far, more side effects then benefit. Very expensive drug to wait 24 weeks for full effects. I experience lightheaded feelings, my voice has become horse and feeling more fatigued. Drinking more than enough water, but still think the drug is not doing much good.
I agree ,good thing my insurance covered it ,$2100 dollars for 90 day .yow !!
But i guess than would cut into profits. I actually had a fat as fuck doctor tell me that I use steroids because I have to have diabetes by my age. Then I was told to eat a decent amount of sugar. I found a different doctor
Wouldn't. It be better to just not get fat as fuck to begin with
i lost 10 lbs after 4 months rybelsus. I found eating some bread with breakfast helps the stomach issues a lot.
Hi, What mg are you on?
That wait you could have lost in 1 month without medication
I have been taking metformin for 35 years ( I just turned 80) and not once has it caused me to have diarrhea. In the last couple of years I have had constipation which I suppose could be from long term metformin..or, just from getting old. I am now 80 and starting to think my only metformin side effect is longevity. I can live with that one....
You are lucky, I've had it so bad it's become a life issue.
Threw up the entire day after going up to 1.7 wegovy 😢 hoping today will be better
Very informative..... but please straighten up your certification frames behind you!
Thank you for sharing.
Is cgm safe to use for a person with pace maker
After how many years does deficiency of vitamin B12 occur?
Hard to say but if you are taking metformin just ask to have your B-12 level checked. That should not be a problem....also, take a B-12 supplement. You cannot take too much B-12
