A timely word of grace from Ric Vargas. Hebrews 12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering, 23 and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, 24 and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.
These kooks need to admit that they hold these wacko beliefs simply because they are afraid to die, or maybe they have buyer's remorse over all the time and money they would have wasted. The sunk cost fallacy only keeps you putting more money into a car that is not worth a dime.
That may be true of some, but if you are making the claim the burden of proof is on you to demonstrate that. Seeing as how it is impossible to collectively show the motivation of millions of people that believe, when it clearly comes down to a case by case basis, your assessment is invalid. You may have experienced some real hurt or ignorance from people that profess to be Christian, we often aren’t good representatives of Jesus, but that doesn’t negate the objective truth of God’s existence and involvement in the world. If you rely on the naturalistic worldview that only trusts in what the scientific process can provide, there is much that you are missing. I pray that God reveals himself to you, so that you can see first hand the reason for our faith.

Precious pastor! Excellent word! I finally got to go back and listen to this after all the difficulties we have been going through with health in our family! What a timely word! Our Lord is indeed preeminent the savior of our souls! May we indeed follow in his steps, bearing fruit that will honor our Father God! I love you, dear pastor!
The music is overpowering that we can't hear you sing, when really I wanted to sing along. I'm not being negative I just would have liked to hear your voice more and follow your voice better. Thank you for praising God as I also do

You guys are Amazing! You should start a podcast together or something like it- maybe write a book. IDK but…Wow! Sarah, you have such a gift for communicating. You and Joel’s testimony about everything you walked through with Charlie and the Faithfulness of God trough it all IS the BEST testimony I’ve ever heard & this message today, knowing everything that you’re currently walking through, has me watching with tears streaming down my face, Hope flooding my heart and praises coming out of my mouth as I see you so gracefully Glorify God in your suffering. I Bless You! I Bless You! I Bless You! “The Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” I Love you all and I’m honored to know you and be part of your family!
Thank you, Pastor, for this timely word as a reminder of the kindness of our Lord. He gives us great grace-lavishing upon us what we don’t deserve, and shows us tender mercy-withholding from us what we do deserve. Oh my...who does that?!?! Our God is truly awesome!♥️
