Season of enchantment was the first season when I joined sky.. Made so many memories but somewhere along the lines sky changed for me.. it's not the same anymore. I miss the magical land of sky I once knew

Hi Irin! Great vid! I used to participate in your hot wheel drawing competitions and really miss that era of sky where things were more simple and had a less needy/greedy vibe. I loved the community you made back then and really miss it. Season of enchantment was my first season too and the whole vibe of the ark is so nostalgic to me. There was a time I found a moth. Candle-running the Graveyard I saw a figure walking through the water. "Short on wing power" - was my guess, so I landed, lit her candle and did a deep call to give her wings some strength. Moth thanked me (using the most appropriate emote she had at the time). She tried to fly, but krill spotted her, and she had to hide. "Oh, dear moth, first journey isn't it?" - I thought. Candle runs are boring, so I decided that helping her to get to the end of Golden Wasteland is a better way to spend my time. I decided to guide her through the Shipwreck. There are 3 winged lights, one of which she wouldn't be able to get at this point on her own, but I could help. I decided not to hold her all the time - just when that was needed. Instead, I followed her, used gestures to point where I want us to go, and used deep calls to give her freedom to have fun. The moth had a ship to explore and spirits to revive, and it was fun to watch her go. But at one point I got carried away, and ended up in water with no strength in my own wings. I saw how my companion started to panic, running around the ship. I saw her doing little calls. That's when I realized that this moth was silent all the time before that. I guess she just didn't know what those calls are useful for. And then she did a deep call. And then again, and again. Even after I was back with her she kept going. And I was so proud of her. I want to believe, that I managed to teach that moth my favorite mechanic of this game, without saying a single word. I hope she had a good time.

I agree Sky was not the grind for cosmetics or the candle runs but it was THAT feeling it gave me of freedom and how it feels to be a kid, the small thrills and the open sky to glide in with just the sounds of flaps and soothing music. I’ll never get that feeling back but I look back on those times fondly and that’s enough for me❤️thank you for this video

A Former player here and quit for the same reasons. Imo, people really can't escape Fomo because that's the only way the game rewards us after doing its contents. The game is designed to be about grinding and collecting, even making friends and unlock its chat require some candles. But that's what cosmetics game module operation is all about I guess, and it was me who misunderstood the game to be a social game rather than what it is because I've never played a cosmetics game before.

I definitely got burnt out from the dailies and felt like I needed to FOMO the latest cape or seasonal item offered. I love the game for the artwork, the community, and the stories. But I don't need the latest mask or another red cape lol
