Tip with the diesel heater - Pull all that extra hose inside the tent. Even the insulated hoses lose a lot of heat to the air. Bringing the excess inside will allow you to capture that heat. Also allows you to put the outlet down by your feat. You can feed it along the inside wall of the tent so it's radiating heat the entire length of the hose in there.
@@Thergood Makes sense. I’ll keep that in mind for my next trip. Thanks for the tip. It was super toasty in there 🥵. A little too hot. Thanks for watching.
Congratulations to @jacekbanka2435 on winning the lights!!! 😊
Fingers crossed 🤞
My rig needs these!
@@tomfasano9082 Everyone should have those. They are great. I’ll pick a random winner tomorrow. Good luck. Unfortunately I can’t give one to everyone but I wish I could. I included a discount code in the description just in case. Thanks for watching.
looks like they throw some light a fair amount of distance!
@@Ahabiger They are super bright and affordable. Winner announced tomorrow.
Time spent between a father and son is one of the staples of life. I remember the times with my dad and look back and wish I was more aware of it. He’s been gone for 31 years now and I wish I could go camping and hunting with him 1 more time! 4 wheeling would have been even better!
@@staceymiller4765 It’s amazing how those moments with our dads stick with us forever. Sounds like your dad gave you some incredible memories to hold on to. Thank you for watching.
Have you considered doing other portions of the North East Backcountry Discovery Route? I have done some of it up near the Canadian Border, a couple of nice lookoffs up near that end.
@@RamblinGrizzly I did a few off-road trips that were part of the NEBDR or really close to it. I would love to do the whole thing only if I could find enough time. 😊 Im sure up north the routes get more scenic. It’s a long drive but hopefully this summer I can do different parts.
@RDOverland it is a pretty long trail, 1300 miles or so, I think. Traveling by myself in my stock pickup meant having to find alternate routes in some places, even in the short distance I traveled it. Wish I had had my Jeep, but the 500 + miles I have to drive to get to the trailhead would take me forever at the speed my old Jeep travels 😀
@ 1300 miles is a hike. I wouldn’t mind driving all those miles in few days but driving back would take me about 11-12 hours 😝 I am planing a trip in the summer to North Maine Woods, I can take some BDR routes to get there.
Is this trail open? Can you give me the start and the end location? Thanks!
@@MartPaulTugbang It’s actually closed.

Great job. Super bright
Great vid! Love your rig!! Was just up in northern ontario bush Snow, ice, and mud just the same! No issues with 33s and stock suspension on my JK! Got the CD snow claws on and amazing tire! Not aggressive looking, but I drove home 6hr south nightime extreme freezing rain storm with flowing water across much the road. amazing traction! better than my MTs in regular summer rain 😂
@@ColouringWithShadows Thank you and thanks for watching. The temperatures were very low but for some reason it didn’t feel cold. I guess when you are having a great time you forget about everything. I used to have 33s on my 2016 JK and was happy with it. It’s a good size tire.
That’s a crazy trail! Good stuff 🤙🏻
@@AT4OB Thanks. It was tough.
Nice job! They look great on your Jeep!!! 🔥
@@Alucamp2019 thanks! 🫡
Where in PA is this? Looks like a very nice trail.
@@ibepressin Thanks! We camped in Jim Thorpe PA. The trail was in the area maybe 20 min drive if I remember correctly.

Great video. About to hit it for first time ever so this was really helpful.
@@adrianheh I’m glad you enjoyed it. It’s a nice trail just watch out for those water crossings. They look deceiving. Thanks for watching. Be safe.
@RDOverland I have a quick follow up question... do I need to air down, or can I just hit it in 4L?
@@adrianheh I aired down. There was one hill that was steep and had some rocks. I did it in 4H. other than that you can do most of the trail in 2WD.
We're running the same lights on our Gladiator, love the lights, however we have found they interfere with the FM radio. Are yours doing the same?
@@Billwithjourneybeyondoverland I did not experience that. So far no issues. I’ll keep an eye on it to make sure but so far all good. Thanks for watching.

Great video! Is this open to anyone? Is love to take the kids as well.
@@micknyc1It’s open.
Looks like a lot of posted land
@@darylmulwane3430 That’s why I only drove on the trail and not on private property.
Great video,Its noce to see others do things with the kids. If i can add some constructive criticism when you are winching please use heavy gloves and put a weighted bag over the winch line to drop it if it should ever break it will snap back and either break the windshield or worse hit you and whoever is next to you.The best place to stand is right next to the drivers side door behind the mirrors. And never grab the line while winching. I've seen lines snap and the damage they can do while holding the line when there is a broken strand.
@@allenr3551 Sounds good. Thanks for watching and the pointers. much appreciated. Please don’t forget to subscribe for more videos. 😝 😆
We have been thankful for drone insurance more than once!
Won’t be long till this trail is shut down for good just like all the others because shitheads post where to go on UA-cam. Been going up there for 20 years, it was always kept off the internet. Just common sense.
