@@Jeanne-ne2ln incorrect … this video is from 6 years ago and has bassist Ross Valory in it and drummer Steve smith. Along with Neal and Jonathan Cain. 4…That’s most of the band.

You'd go see The Police without Sting...Cold Play without Chris Martin...Grand Funk Railroad without Mark Farner...Maroon Five without Adam Levine...You need more proof? They'd all be COVER BANDS without the main person that made them who they were! THE VOICE = Steve Perry

I mean… it still sounds very good. I love SP but he’s wasn’t the only member of Journey …. And left the band when I was young so..🤷🏻‍♂️

AGREE 100% Watching video clips from the 81 Escape tour is WAY BETTER than going to watch a cover band COVER Journey songs. I understand Neil and others were in Journey but....Steve Perry made them who they ARE.

Sad to hear… glad I got to see him with Foreigner

The current version of the band actually started the show off…. Played about an hour and then mick and Kelly introduced the original guys and they played about 5-6 with just the original Foreigner. After that, everybody was on stage and they played the last two or three songs all together.. it was part of their then and now which is only maybe 10 shows I think. I’m glad I got to see original foreigner, and Lou sounded awesome.

Age changes everything, Lou is 81 years old! He isn't gonna sound like he is 18 n e more! They're still one of the baddest ass bands to ever play!

I understand, but unfortunately I was too young to ever see Steve sing with Journey.

And unfortunately Steve doesn't sing that well anymore. His voice now sounds more like Wayne Newton now. Arnel sounds much better than Steve does Steve couldn't do it anymore even if he wanted to

No singer is replacing Steve Perry. Simply, THESE singers, who are loyal fans also, just continue to sing to keep the Journey's Spirit ALIVE!
