It's the same here in Australia. Middle class is disappearing - it's either rich or poor now, where you're either wealthy or you're a servant to the wealthy. Average house price here is $1,000,000. Houses were affordable for everyone about 20 years ago, but no longer 😥 .. Adult children are now living at home with their parents until their late 20s.
