For those that don't know.... the NYC stage is small compared to the many venues they play in. The show is much closer and intimate.... and LOUD !!!!
I think its becuse they use the same building to store all their tour stuff. And I agree with this being louder, at the vegas show I sat in the 5th row and I had school rallies that where way louder. But the bass drum they use there is like 3 times the diameter as they one they use in New York and you can REALLY feel it.
Saw this last night Off Broadway!!! What a blast. I got to dance with one of them. So great!!

It is, the Chicago and Boston stages are pretty much the same as the NY stage but wider

They did this the other week when I was in Las Vegas. The video does it no justice. You just have to see it in person. The whole show is just visually amazing.
This part got removed sadly, i think *maybe* Chicago and Boston still does this segment, in Vegas, maybe berlin, and the Touring shows this got replaced with gaicometti
@@CatBot007 yeah. Went back in August and watched the show again. Was sad to see that this segment was not in there.
@@Smokey.Tackle seems like they chose visual quality rather than entertainment quality with that new stage. There's also no fly tower in the Ex-Jabbawockeez theater so they didn't have anywhere to hang the phones.
@@CatBot007 New York has a new airpole segment that is very similar-sounding to Giacometti. As of June 2023 when I saw it.

Did I mention I hated the Blue Man Group in NYC and thought it was a super waste of time and money.
I feel like blue man group takes a certain niche of people to thoroughly enjoy it. I’m planning on going to nyc in march and plan to go see bmg just bc Astor is where it all started. But I respect your opinion completely as it took me a while to enjoy bmg
The sketch with the Iphone was just flat out dumb. No originality. I paid $100/ticket and sat 4 rows from the back. I will do my homework next time. Rip off of the first order.
The marshmallow thing was the only thing in my opinion that displayed any talent. Maybe the drumming was OK, but there was too much of that. I can't believe I paid $100./ticket to see this nonsense.
They must be able to do this stuff in their sleep. Very scripted. I just can't believe this show has lasted as long as it has. There is nothing entertaining about it!!!
I went to go see it today its very entertaining
This was the dumbest and most overpriced affair that I have ever gotten myself tangled up with. I saw this show in the cramped NYC theatre and I thought it was just ridiculous. I would never take a child to see this, nor would I ever go again. I hated it. So did my daughter and wife. Very disappointing. Mind numbingly stupid.
